Brought my bike in for service and they returned it in worse condition than when I brough it in…read more $650 later, the brakes were still rubbing, the new bar tape was left hanging, and the gears were crashing so badly that only 4 out of 10 were usable. When I returned it to complain, they were agressive and tried to blame me and said it was fine when they tested it. Turns out they had installed an 11-cog rear cassette on my 10 speed bike and they (despite their insistence) had never bothered to test it. Unfortunately, this was not the first time they had messed things up, but it will be the last.

I was looking for a particular item and they did not carry it, but the woman I spoke to said they would get it ordered for the store and that it would be in within 7-10 days. Since their nationwide competitor had it on the shelf they ordered a case to have it in stock for everyone. Take a moment to think about how impressive that is. Flip the scenario and but a big box retailer in that position. Would they immediately put an item on their next order from a vendor to stock it in the store? Does the store manager even have that power? Or would they be more likely to direct you to their website? Very few of us will ever run into Bezos at the supermarket, so why line his pockets? Almost all of us will run into Ryan and his staff outside of Mocean, either having fun on the trail, or at an event supporting the community. Keep this in mind when shopping.

Then quick as can be two young guys hustled 3 kayaks from the shop to mini vans to the water and launched our kiddos out for an hour and a 1/2 paddle. The team inside also told them where to go and showed them on a map before sending them off. I used a coupon from one of the local guidebooks. The kids had a great time (they had all previously kayaked, and two have their PWC license) and I would 100% recommend for older kids and we will return again next year.

The facility is right by the water and they will gently push your kayak behind you to get you started. This part is 5 stars. The 2nd part is 1 star. The business gave as three $5 coupons to use at a local restaurant. This restaurant is just behind their property. We went there to have lunch and at the time of paying the check we provided the coupons but the restaurant declined them. Lots of bla bla and exclusions of what the coupons cover (must be a party of two, won't provide discount on lobster, won't give discount on kids meals) and whatever, we were declined to use the coupons. Whatever. It's not about the money. It's about legitimate and transparent business. Stop baiting customers and luring them into using the restaurant. Of course you will tell me I did not read the very fine print. Well I did not coz I trusted you. And thanks for the opportunity. We now know how you try to trick people with those coupons.

I went on the Nauset Marsh High Tide tour with my sister yesterday and we had a great time! We…read morechose this location because it was advertised as being one of his easier paddles, and since we have only been kayaking a couple times (and it's 3 hours) we didn't want to get in over our heads. Johnathan was very very knowledgeable about the area and Cape Cod in general, was able to answer all of my questions about the marsh, and provide interesting talking points and tidbits. We saw several types of wildlife: blue herring, horseshoe crabs, other crabs, clams, egrets, and even a seal in the distance. The paddling itself was not bad at all on this tour; it was very easy to keep up and would be fine for adults of pretty much any activity level, even quasi couch-potato ....your arms will just be a little sore the next morning if you don't really ever use them...like me :) The online booking feature is a real win in my opinion because you can see all the options available at one glance. This is a feature that seemed to be lacking in other Kayaking businesses in the area. My sister commented that she enjoyed this even more than she though she was going to. I will definitely go back again with my husband and do another tour sometime soon.
