This most recent time to get a new chair we were having a problem with getting a PT evaluation. The last two chairs we saw a Physical Therapist through Promedica. As you might know, they have changed its welcome to many insurances, and we were denied service by them this time for the seating clinic that we usually do at Flower Hospital with the reasoning "insurance won't pay for it", they have before. And now hundreds of people are looking for another outlet to get help. UTMC, Monroe Promedica, U of M, saying 6 month waiting period! So we stuck our head out and called Trinity Health (formerly IHA) in Ypsilanti. They could get us in within a month. But our normal ATS we see at the Holland, OH center didn't want to drive to Ypsilanti for the eval. There is another office very close to us that we knew was there, but were told they only serviced Nursing Homes, Long-term care facilities when enquiring before about getting a new chair. Jason - the ATP from this site, said he would drive there and meet us. I cannot say enough about him. His expertise, his compassion, his knowledge, his kindness, and eagerness to help us was awesome. He was incredible and will always be our go-to for future wheelchairs. What and incredible man.

Spent the night in a local hotel and called Toledo Auto Care the next morning to set up an appointment the next day. Turned out it was just some dirty oil that needed changing. The mechanic showed me the brakes and let me know that they were going to need changing sometime in the near future, but it wasn't anywhere close to the in-your-face sales pitch that some auto shops give you. I left Toledo Auto Care with a healthy care and a healthier state of mind. They treat their customers right here, and if I'm in the area again this will be my number one choice for any car repairs.

Service can be a bit slow because a lot of shifts consist of two people at the counter. I called the Lewis Ave location earlier today to make sure that they had 2018 Ford Escape oil filters on hand, I'm a home body and I would rather not drive around town aimlessly if I can go to one store and be done. When I called I was waiting for someone to pick up the phone for at least a good minute. An employee, who will remain to be unnamed, answered. I asked my question about the oil filter and I was asked to hold. I did so for 6 1/2 minutes, now this may not be a long time to some people and I truly wasn't bothered until a different employee, who again will remain to be unnamed, answered and asked if he could help me. Now don't get me wrong I understand COVID, and being busy during the holidays but I am a paying customer who is valuable whether in the store or not. I proceeded to tell the second gentleman that "I thought I was waiting for someone to just let me know if they had oil filters for my 2018 Ford Escape in stock." If I'm being honest here, I was confused, I was under the assumption that I was waiting for someone to come back on the phone with me to just say yes or no. This gentleman proceeds to snap back and say "Yes, we have several and they are $4.99 each." I attempt to say "Thank you very much!" But I was rudely hung up on with nothing further said. Needless to say, they have very poor customer service at this location and I do not recommend going there. I live less than 5 minutes away from this location and I will gladly drive an extra 15 minutes to the Sylvania, OH location to purchase any of my automotive needs in the future.

I'd rather have a Pi-lot than a Pi-little…read more We came to the pilot up here in Toledo just south of the Michigan border a few miles north of the city of Toledo, hoping to get the cheap gas that was advertised on the massive signs, only to find all the pumps were closed down in the middle of the night. Not very useful and very lucky for us that the gas station across the road and a block further west - part of the grocery store - was still open. So we were able to get gas but not here and even though it seems like a truck stop that everybody loves, the one time we came here it wasn't convenient. But I'm sure we'll be back again and I'll reevaluate it then.
