I had no say in when the companion would visit, for how long, or what would happen. Apparently this is standard for Elder Concierge. I then asked him to please not drop me at the main entrance, but at the emergency entrance, as that was closer to the elevator that I needed. Again he got incensed at the fact that I would suggest where to tell him to drop me. He was very rude. He turned around and brought me home and told me to take a taxi! The worst part aside from swearing at me to close the F******ing door was that he threatened me, by then saying "I Know where you live" as I was getting out of the car. Absolutely unacceptable and totaly unprofessional!

Andy's price was considerably less than the other company I had called which was neither professional nor caring like Andy. My husband and I highly recommend Gentle and Quick Transportation. We will be using Andy's company over our life time. What a wonderful experience. We actually enjoyed paying Andy he is so deserving!!!

The guardian angels were watching over us the day we made the call to Touching Hearts at Home, Englewood. TH was able to staff the shifts we needed for Mom to be able to stay in her home as long as she was able, and once it became clear that she needed more acute care in a memory care facility, our caregiver helped her through that transition as well. Please note: I said "our caregiver," because she became such an integral part of mom's care, from the personal care tasks to the more important task of loving her and, in caring for Mom, she was caring for us. We had needed to find someone who would help Mom feel safe, loved and supported while we had to be away, and she took that request to heart. Ryan and his office team, Michelle and Esther, take the time to ask the right questions, and truly work with the client and their family to customize an effective care plan that takes each client's life history, abilities, needs and wishes into account, along with the caregiver's experience, personality and expertise to help ensure a good match. If you are at the beginning of your loved one's journey, or are needing to make a change in agency, make the call to Touching Hearts at Home, Englewood. You'll be glad you did!
