Such an odd first encounter with the business. Okayyy... So, when I asked about rates, he again said it's impossible for him to say because all he does is plug the variables - like day of week, time of day, distance, wheelchair type, and so on. It's entirely possible that once you get over these initial hurdles that they provide a superb service but If they require that much notice, they shouldn't make claims on their website to cater for people in a hurry. They do fine with longer trips, but for short ones, they are horrible! They will leave you stranded…read morefor hours and lie about the pick up. One time, for an hour and a half, the dispatcher repeatedly claimed the driver was 10 minutes away. Another time, the driver showed up a full hour before my scheduled pickup time, and the dispatcher repeatedly lied about the pick up time when I could clearly see the correct pickup time in my app. They then left m sitting for two hours claiming "since it was my mistake" they had to wait until a driver was in the area. Another patient took me home because I had been waiting since before her treatment began! Another time, they first called to say the driver was running late. I stayed in regular contact with dispatch and they repeatedly said the driver would be pulling up any minute. I never got to the appointment that day and had to reschedule for the specialist that took me months to get into. Your ride doesn't matter if it's a short trip and the dispatcher is unable to schedule properly to accomodate short trips. The dispatcher also receives your emailed complaints and does not forward them up the chain. He lies and makes excuses and blames the patient, when the problem is clearly his inability to schedule drivers properly. Thank goodness my insurance company can block them from taking my short trip requests now!

We contacted Denver NEMT Ambulette. Ray was able schedule us easily. Each time he arrived exactly as scheduled and we arrived at each appointment 15 -20 minutes early, which we requested. Ray is friendly and funny and extremely competent. I went with my sister to all of her appointments, Ray made it so easy. He was able to offer her footrests for her wheelchair. Next time we need a van, we'll definitely call Denver NEMT Ambulette. I highly recommend Ray. At one point one of the tests took longer than expected, Ray was able to work around the time change. We needed to wait for a time while he was helping another client, but he kept in touch ​and arrived within his estimated time. Thank you Ray!!

His vehicles were highly capable of transporting me and my wheelchair. I paid a pretty penny to have him available throughout the day and evening if I needed him. Fortunately for him, we did not require much travel accept to and from the Olympic Center and hotel On the morning of my first shoot, Ray had an argument with his girlfriend and was late taking me to the Olympic Center. Fortunately, the shooting event started late so I technically made it in time. I was a bit frazzled, but I still shot okay. All other scheduled drives were on time. His prices were a bit high, but I was satisfied with his service and I intended to use Denver Amulet for future shooting events in Colorado. Our final trip was a ride to Aspen to participate in the Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. I found on the morning of that he mis-quoted the cost of the trip to Aspen by quite a bit. Before traveling to Aspen, we looked at his laptop to confirm that the quote he provided me was actually in his system. He countered and said he would be losing money if I paid him the actual quote provided. (I am leaving out the actual dollar amounts). I reluctantly paid the additional cost, and we made it to Aspen safely. A couple times, we asked him to put the phone down while driving and he eventually complied. Ray is a great guy, and easy to speak with. He successfully took me to all my scheduled destinations. The missed quote to Aspen didn't sit well with me so I will be looking for transportation with other companies.
