What what made the situation all the more difficult is it took us over an hour to connect with the driver because she was not familiar with the airport. Andy…read morepicked me up Wednesday morning 6/1 at 5 A.M. to take me to the Anshutz hospital for a procedure. as we got to Montview, I suggested that he turn left. he got very mad and rude, and told me not to be a backseat driver. I then asked him to please not drop me at the main entrance, but at the emergency entrance, as that was closer to the elevator that I needed. Again he got incensed at the fact that I would suggest where to tell him to drop me. He was very rude. He turned around and brought me home and told me to take a taxi! The worst part aside from swearing at me to close the F******ing door was that he threatened me, by then saying "I Know where you live" as I was getting out of the car. On pickup day I had to call 4 times because the driver was 90 minutes late, he went to the wrong door, and refused to come inside, as I explained was required and absolutely common to protect the patient from predators - like them, and failed. The white Van he drove is basically a wreck waiting for a place to happen, and has no identification of this "company with poor reviews". I paid these jerks $85. for pure aggravation after a medical ordeal when all I wanted was some common courtesy and to go home and relax. This company is a nightmare waiting for another chance to happen - and that is absolutely not going to happen to me again. A cavalier attitude focused on producing revenue with no common courtesy, apology or understanding. These words to the wise should be sufficient for you to find another outfit to work with and avoid the drama and b.s.

We contacted Denver NEMT Ambulette. Ray was able schedule us easily. Each time he arrived exactly as scheduled and we arrived at each appointment 15 -20 minutes early, which we requested. Ray is friendly and funny and extremely competent. I went with my sister to all of her appointments, Ray made it so easy. He was able to offer her footrests for her wheelchair. Next time we need a van, we'll definitely call Denver NEMT Ambulette. I highly recommend Ray. At one point one of the tests took longer than expected, Ray was able to work around the time change. We needed to wait for a time while he was helping another client, but he kept in touch ​and arrived within his estimated time. Thank you Ray!!

His vehicles were highly capable of transporting me and my wheelchair. I paid a pretty penny to have him available throughout the day and evening if I needed him. Fortunately for him, we did not require much travel accept to and from the Olympic Center and hotel On the morning of my first shoot, Ray had an argument with his girlfriend and was late taking me to the Olympic Center. Fortunately, the shooting event started late so I technically made it in time. I was a bit frazzled, but I still shot okay. All other scheduled drives were on time. His prices were a bit high, but I was satisfied with his service and I intended to use Denver Amulet for future shooting events in Colorado. Our final trip was a ride to Aspen to participate in the Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. I found on the morning of that he mis-quoted the cost of the trip to Aspen by quite a bit. Before traveling to Aspen, we looked at his laptop to confirm that the quote he provided me was actually in his system. He countered and said he would be losing money if I paid him the actual quote provided. (I am leaving out the actual dollar amounts). I reluctantly paid the additional cost, and we made it to Aspen safely. A couple times, we asked him to put the phone down while driving and he eventually complied. Ray is a great guy, and easy to speak with. He successfully took me to all my scheduled destinations. The missed quote to Aspen didn't sit well with me so I will be looking for transportation with other companies.

Beware of this company as they have a policy that will bill you 2 weeks worth of senior care…read moreservices if not given a notice ahead of time. My mother with dementia ended up going to an emergency room, and then immediately to a memory care facility. Regardless of the fact that we did not see this coming, extended family home care continued to bill for 2 weeks worth of services which was about 1,200+ only because they were not notified of cancelling services. We had two other home care agencies providing services and neither one of them had this unethical billing policy. On top of that, some of the caregivers did not seem to provide quality care. And also had inconsistent caregiving services, with some cancelling last minute or did not even had the right skill level to care for my mother.
