Greetings Silver Linings Michelle Christensen, RN Business Owner! Well...There was no "Silver Linings" for me! This is my experience & opinions with this Hospice Care... I read Michelle's heart felt "masterpiece". "From the Business"...Words like "compassion", "going the extra mile", "informed", "educated" & "make sure we are always performing at our upmost best"! I find this "magnificence" hard to believe! That's because I requested home care from this company via e-mail. Michelle responded & asked me some personal questions. I answered her. That was six days ago! Michelle presents herself as an influential positive role model evidenced w/her compassion, how she went the extra mile & performed @ her upmost best!...NOT!!!...SHE GHOSTED ME!!!...I guess this is how she operates her company. After a horrible experience with a previous hospice, I was admittedly apprehensive about starting over with another provider. From the moment I connected with Silver Lining Hospice, that apprehension began to fade. I felt supported and understood during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. My point of contact, Josh, was consistently professional, proactive, courteous, and helpful -- guiding me through each step with compassion and clarity. Ashley, the Head RN, demonstrated not only exceptional medical knowledge but also genuine warmth and empathy. She didn't just supervise the team -- she was right there alongside the CNAs, delivering hands-on care with the same dedication and heart. She always listened and answered every question with patience, offered support, prepared me for the changes ahead, and -- most importantly -- treated Vera with the utmost dignity and respect she deserved. The CNAs were equally remarkable -- caring, attentive, and loving in every interaction. They, as with Ashley, were always punctual and lit up the room with their positive, loving energy, which on many occasions prompted Vera to share a long-hidden smile of happiness and sometimes even an enthusiastic "hi!" They perform a much-needed but often thankless job, yet they do it with constant love, care, and concern. Over the course of seven months, with multiple visits each week, supportive friendships developed -- not only with me, but also with my Doberman, Cheyenne, who was coping with her own sadness and fear from Vera's illness. These bonds of friendship became deeply appreciated and even more valued upon Vera's passing. Silver Lining Hospice truly lived up to its name, becoming a source of light during a time of deep sadness. I have nothing but good to say about this hospice. We felt supported and knew that their help gave every bit of comfort to our parent. Such a compassionate director, who spent much time with us. And our nurse, Ashley, was just phenomenal. She made sure she kept in touch and when the death came, it was peaceful. Ashley stayed after and made all the arrangements we did not have to worry about, even calling the funeral home. Phenomenal care. You can't get better! read more

Exceptional Hospice Care-Highly Recommended! My colleagues and I have referred many families to hospice care over the last year, but they have yet to compare to Silver Linings Hospice. I have been fortunate enough to deal with Michelle several times and find her level of care, professionalism, and responsiveness consistently above expectation. One of the high points of dealing with Silver Linings is how responsive they can be. Be it an urgent need or a routine inquiry, they are promptly available and ready to sort out anything we need. I would never have to worry about pending responses, as they always responded quickly to any questions or problems. That level of dependability means a lot in these instances. The care given to patients and their families is unparalleled. The staff are very caring and attentive and ensure the patient's comfort and dignity are always addressed. Referrals I have given to Silver Linings were also genuinely grateful for the outstanding care of their loved ones. They treat every patient as if he or she were a family member, including all the physical care, emotional, and spiritual support one may need. Another reason I have continuously recommended Silver Linings is because they are communicative. They regularly update us and the family about patient condition changes and go out of their way to provide relevant information about the care plan. Being on such a level of communication helps the families feel informed and involved in the process. It makes all the difference during such a difficult time. If your loved one needs hospice care, please allow me to recommend Silver Linings Hospice highly. We chose this hospice because it was small and family owned. They failed miserably and discharged my daughter two days before she died. They completely mismanaged her pain and should be shut down and are hands down the worst and most non heart filled organization I've ever seen. Do NOT use this place if you love and of course you love, your loved ones. Also BEWARE they know nothing about giving the proper emotional support and do not have education around any mental needs of the patients. They basically think it's easier to fill them with morphine and then disappear. We will be filing a State complaint. My daughter deserved SO much her last days and they turned it into a tragedy. Silver Linings you can go to your own grave knowing what you did to my daughter. Also, people beware of hospices that say they support medical aid in dying, a patient's right in Colorado, but truthfully don't. The patients for Silver Linings are only worth what they can charge, then they dump people. It's criminal, stay clear of Silver Linings. Please heed this review, it's crucial. read more

Silver Linings is AMAZING!!! I cannot give enough stars, seriously. I had a great experience with their sister company in Albuquerque. The ABQ crew suggested I work with the Denver company. I am SO glad I did! Joshua, the marketing person for Silver Linings, LISTENED. Not only did he understand my issues, he went above & beyond to resolve them. When I couldn't find a facility in Denver that would take Mom on her budget, he took the initiative to find a facility for me! I cannot even begin to express what that meant to me! Joshua found a GREAT facility at a better-than-expected price. Amazing!! He and the entire hospice team worked together to make sure Mom's move was seamless & as painless as possible. Seriously great support! Mom had a bed & wheelchair waiting for her when we arrived & her other supplies were there that same day. When other issues have come up, solutions have been found within the day -- often within the hour! The entire team communicates really well -- I've received texts & calls & updates whenever anything happens. I cannot say enough good things about Silver Linings. Give them a try for your hospice needs -- you'll be glad you did! read more

I wanted to thank Silver Linings Hospice for the way they took care of my mom and my family. It was a very difficult time for us, but the team was extremely compassionate and understanding of our situation. I really appreciated the fact that they were available by phone 24/7 and kept us in constant communication about my mom's situation and progress. if you're looking for a Hospice that does not bring supplies, does not give complete bed baths, refuses to communicate with the primary caregiver if no one is going to show up "no call/no show", has an RN who will tell you twice a week that your loved one has only three days left (it is now two and a half months later), a company that totally lacks compassion, then please, by all means, choose Silver Linings. read more
