The staff was super attentive and said they would have the owner call me back with pricing. Instead, the owner and his team went above and beyond, he worked with my budget trying to find me the most affordable option to get me back on the road. Not only that l but they sent someone out to where I was, grabbed my bad tire, replaced it at the shop, and came back to install it. Who does that anymore? Seriously, top-notch service and genuine human kindness! I will be buying all my tires from Phil's Fleet Tire Service from now on. Customer for life. This is why we should buy local and supporting our community businesses.

The only reason why I gave this business a 1-star is because I had to. On 03/17/2023, at…read moreapproximately 12:00 noon, an employee of Phil's Fleet Tire Service was changing a tire, and rim to a vehicle that was parked in front of my house. and providing service to the vehicle. This vehicle that needed a tire serviced had leaked oil onto the street in front of my house. I had asked the driver/employee of Phil's Fleet Tire Service if he was going to place sand/or cat litter on the leak to absorb the oil. He stated "No" it's not his responsibility, he didn't cause the leak. I didn't inquire about who caused the link, the fact that the company he works for provides a service to vehicles, and in their line of work, they must often come across oil, and other liquids from vehicles. The sand is a sign of courtesy, Industry professionalism, and assist in keeping the community clean. The driver/employee was rude in his response to me. I called Phil's Fleet Tire Service and spoke to "Phil" himself who originally stated that he would call his driver and have him re-respond and put some sort of "absorbent material on the oil. Approximately 5 minutes later, "Phil" called me and states that it's not their responsibility to place sand/litter on any vehicle oil leaks. They are just a tire service company. They would not even do it out of common courtesy. Here Phil's Fleet Tire Service is providing a service to vehicles yet they do not have the community or city in their interest. No wonder there are many parts of Tucson that looks like a dumping area. It obvious that this business does not care about the community, the City of Tucson, and definitely not the residents of Tucson. I went and purchased sand and put it on the leaked oil myself. I definitely will not use Phil's Service as he is not worried about my community, my neighborhood, and not my block.

He was incredibly professional, and dealt with my changing our appointment well. Ultimately, he was able to come out to see the vehicle only an hour after I had the address. The credit card hold charge for the appointment could have been annoying (sometimes my money is all in cash) but luckily it wasn't a problem on that day. The $119 fee was flat, tax included, and he was happy to take cash. 120 is more than the $50 other mechanics were quoting, but I believe it to be a much greater value. The inspection was 120 points, including a comprehensive write-up with photos emailed to me. Convenient, courteous, and thorough. Based on Joe's inspection, I did not purchase my friend's vehicle. He saved me much more hastle and money than I spent on his services, and I am very grateful. 10/10 would recommend, and would use again. Don't even bother calling anybody else.
