Honda Cars Of Bellevue - Honda Cars of Bellevue

Honda Cars Of Bellevue

(74 reviews)

If you've ever wanted to experience the absolute pinnacle of automotive incompetence, I highly…read morerecommend paying a visit to the service department at Honda Cars of Bellevue. Seriously -- it's a masterclass in how to get absolutely nothing done while confidently having no idea what's going on. I purchased my car here in April. Fast forward to May 24th -- blew a tire. No big deal, right? I had the foresight to purchase a tire and wheel warranty when I bought the car. You'd think that would make this an easy process. Oh, you sweet, naïve soul. Enter Dustin and Rick, the service manager -- and I use manager loosely, because managing anything seems wildly outside his skillset. These two couldn't find my warranty anywhere. Poof. Vanished. Like a magician's trick, except instead of applause, all you get is delays and migraines. Then, in a moment of pure, unfiltered genius, Rick tells me there's a $150 deductible and that the warranty doesn't cover cosmetic wheel damage. Only problem? He was quoting a warranty this dealership hasn't sold in over three years. Three. Years. And who had to enlighten him? Me -- after calling my salesperson and getting the real information. Because apparently, the service manager has no idea what products his own dealership sells. You truly can't make this up. And here's where it gets downright insulting. 11 days later, I still don't have my car back. Eleven. Days. Over a tire. I've watched entire homes get built faster than these clowns can fix a wheel. Their mysterious, elusive "wheel guy" comes once a week, and somehow didn't get to my car last week. Now we're into this week, and no one can confirm if the mythical wheel guy is even gracing the dealership with his presence today. Eleven days. For a tire. I cannot stress enough how wildly unacceptable and embarrassing this is for a professional dealership. Honestly, I'd have a better shot handing my keys to a 22-year-old meth head at Jiffy Lube. At least he'd have the decency to wreck it quickly instead of stringing me along for a week and a half. The fact that a service manager has no idea what his dealership sells, can't coordinate a basic tire repair, and thinks it's fine to leave a customer without their vehicle for 11 days over a flat is beyond belief. This isn't a joke. It's not exaggerated. It's just Honda Cars of Bellevue being tragically, spectacularly bad at what they do. If you like wasting your time, being lied to, and dealing with a service department that would lose a race to a snail with a limp, this is your place. Otherwise -- stay far, far away. Update: I just found out the wheel guy won't be coming in today... because of the weather. Now, before you picture some catastrophic, end-of-days scenario, let me clarify -- it's 60° and drizzling. I had to actually step outside to make sure I wasn't missing a biblical flood, an alien invasion, or a solid 30 inches of snow. Nope. Just a little drizzle and the kind of mild weather that even house cats would be fine in. And yet somehow, that's enough to derail this already tragic operation. 12 days and counting... over a tire...

Nope not Alan, he's going to fix those minor issues and hopefully I'll be in my new ride tomorrow. I just bought an F-150 from a major local car dealer and now I wish I'd found Alan before I bought from them. I highly recommend Dino Auto sales and when rating BHPH, they get 10 stars in my book, but alas I can only give 5. Oh, and he is in no way the cheesy, greesey, fast talking, trickster that you usually run into in this kind of dealership. We worked with Shawn, who went above and beyond to find the vehicle that fit our family's needs and price range. It was so past my scope of what I dared to hope for in a car buying experience; Shawn genuinely cared about what our family needed and offered us a loaner for as long as necessary, and kept us updated on vehicles that came in that could fit our needs. We ended up with an economical vehicle in our family, and the next time we need one we know where we are going. I never imagined a car buying experience could be so easy... especially while recovering from an accident. We are sticking with the "little guys" - what a HUGE difference and amazing experience

However, my recent interaction at the Dodge location--with Jeff, the Manager--was by far the worst experience I have ever had with Woodhouse or any dealership. When I asked to test-drive a Corvette--priced at approximately $75,000--Jeff became immediately defensive. I explained that I am exploring several options, including the Corvette, an Audi, and other vehicles, and simply wanted to drive the car before making a decision. Given my long history with Woodhouse, I did not believe this was an unreasonable request. Jeff refused to provide his business card, raised his voice, and ultimately asked my son and me to leave. He even stated that "people drive them when they purchase them," which I found hard to believe and inconsistent with industry practice. His behavior was abrupt, unprofessional, and entirely unnecessary. I have never witnessed a manager react in such a triggered and defensive manner. If I--or any employee on my team--behaved this way in front of a customer, I would expect immediate disciplinary action. After this experience, I will not be returning to Woodhouse. It's clear that my business is not valued, and I will purchase elsewhere. This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have had.

My vehicle had only six miles on it when I took it home, yet no one installed the required front license plate bracket--even though the state mandates a front plate. The salesperson was friendly enough, but mostly unnecessary since I already knew exactly what I wanted. Before filling my tank or giving the required full charge, he asked me to complete a review for him. I never received a full charge from them (I purchased a Jeep Wrangler 4xe)--not at purchase and not since. The biggest issues came from the finance department. I was given misleading information that increased my purchase price significantly. When I confronted him about the numbers, the price was quietly adjusted--but he took my tax break for himselves without informing me or asking for permission. That alone was beyond unacceptable. The only reason I've returned at all is because the purchase included a couple of free oil changes. I'm here today for a SCHEDULED oil change and was just told it will take an hour and fifteen minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. This dealership has been nothing but a headache. Between the dishonesty, the lack of communication, and the consistently poor service, I HIGHLY recommend that no one comes here. They are a complete joke, and I regret doing business with them.

I am disappointed that they "take 20 days" to pay off my old car. They have had my old car listed on their site for a week while I am still paying interest on the new and old loan. They snail mailed a check to my bank ( Why was this not overnighted ) which is taking an excessive amount of time. I feel like I'm paying their floor plan costs so they can hopefully sell my old car while I still hold the note. The next thing I was disappointed in was the confusion on which part of the dealership I was supposed to go to. I did look at the certified pre owned BMW but I was also looking at what I thought was a brand new BMW ( Turns out it was mislabeled on the website as a new car with 0 miles ). When I arrived I was quickly moved over to the Mini dealership. I ultimately ended up purchasing a new BMW but the shuffling between the Mini and BMW side didn't make me feel like I was getting the premium experience they advertise on all the Facebook ads I see. I'm not sure why they don't do ALL BMWs ( used and new ) on the BMW side. This review has no bearing on the people I worked with but more dealership policies that caused confusion and the excessive amount of time to pay off my old car WHILE they are trying to sell it.

That's all...nothing else. A quick Google search found that I could do those 4 things 3x per year for $234....at a Honda dealership. Greasy slime ball. Oh, and on my way home after purchasing the vehicle, with 42 miles on it, every light came on and my vehicle went into Safe Mode...30 miles per hour top speed. I turned around and went back. Didn't get it back for 9 days, because they didn't have an experienced EV tech yet. I called back a week later. Stood on hold for 7 minutes while I could hear him in the background. Foul language, talking about a customer. I recorded it on Google Voice. I coughed and you hear him say "OH, S**T!" Then he lied again and told me that I'd gotten a great deal.
