I went to see Bamboo not knowing anything about fascia work or anything about fascia in the body…read more I saw an ad (not Bamboo's) regarding fascia treatments and thought this is my last try for getting help on an old shoulder injury from a hard fall and my balance issues from cervical surgery. I've been trying to resolve my shoulder issue for years and paid hundreds of dollars trying to resolve with no positive results. I found Bamboo online and decided to try this work as a final fix. Bamboo is very compassionate, thorough and easy to work with. My balance and walking ability improved greatly with her treatment. My shoulder pain has lessened and I'm much more knowledgeable about the fascia system and how it affects the whole body.

The price was shocking. I would not have come had I known, and I tend to believe she likely knew the same. I feel scammed and am mad at myself for showing up for that appointment. Several friends who are clients pushed me to make an appointment with Leigh who specializes in Graston and Fascial Stretch Therapy. Forty years of cycling and bicycling crashes had taken its toll. I was reluctant to go having been to sent to other PT's by physicians in the past. I felt significant relief after the first visit and have been going regularly since to deal with other issues I had assumed were long past remediation because of age or injuries. I have referred others, including two relatives, to Dr. Mike (who is taking new patients) and they are enthusiastic about their improvement as well. It took a bit to get an appointment because they are in such demand and they don't take insurance but my only regret is that I didn't begin this years ago.

DANGER! Do NOT entrust your care to this organization!! Rehabilitation is much too important and…read morethis facility has terrible administrative issues. Please note this review is not about the therapists themselves but that hardly matters if you can't actually get in to see them. My insurance cleared me for 20 sessions without ANY time restrictions or expiration date. They were only "able" to get me in 5 times and that was a full five weeks after I was supposed to start. On the 6th appt they said they put their own end date in their system and therefore I couldn't be seen that day and had me fill out my forms all over again but after three phone calls over two weeks, I never got in again, nor were they able to email or print my exercises then or on any of my visits. And it's not just me, every single time I sat in the waiting room I watched them turn away people for various clerical reasons -- they literally sent elderly people home who had clearly gone to great lengths to secure transportation there. Turned away children whose parents had gotten time off to bring their children there. Offering no apologies, only random excuses about glitches in their computer system, just shameful. The facility is clean enough but the equipment is very old. DON'T RISK YOUR HEALTH. There are numerous facilities to choose from nearby and many more a short drive further.
