Had a great experience working with Rob. He inspected a vehicle my company was looking to purchase. Despite the rain, he showed up in a timely manner and performed a thorough inspection. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The report we received was detailed, which included a grade and a comment for certain problem areas. For example, the Rear Fender received a C rating, and a comment 'evidence of impact damage and panel filler.' After receiving the report, we decided not to purchase the vehicle. I had experience with this guy called Robert aka Rob and he is just a total waste of time and money who charges almost double the cost than any other services out there and provides 0 * services. He claims so called experienced and certified and will perform thorough inspection and says he is kind of a guy who underpromised and over delivered but he is actually other way that overpromised and under delivered services. What makes is even pathetic is that he gets really upset when we ask any questions to him about the vehicle and doesn't even bother to listen what we ask or say, he just wants us to see his report and just concentrate on whatever he has mentioned about the issues on the vehicle inspected while even if there are other issues exist on the vehicle which he hasn't identified and he says its all fine as long as its not mentioned in the report. His report format is like years old format which doesn't have any details to trust what his inspection is about and doesn't include any photos of whatsoever, he initially claimed the inspection is for 3-4 hours then said it will be 2.5 hours and then during the actual inspection, he spent less than 2 hours in which half of his time was spent on writing notes, taking breaks etc. And he would not give any kind of refund when pointed out any of his mistakes. Would highly recommend not use Robert's services for any kind of pre purchase vehicle inspection as it's truly unprofessional, high attitude guy, not trust worthy, not detail oriented, liar, disappointing. read more

Steer Clear of Rob from Mobileworks. Very rude. I was referred to him and he started off by calling me a liar on the price I was quoted. He is 50% more than most inspectors. After I explained to him the price I was quote, then he want to be a keyboard warrior and try to be aggressive. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself a bunch of headaches. read more

Rob first came by on Sunday and within minutes identified the cause of my serpentine belt alignment issue. He didn't have the special tool needed to press the pulley on the shaft further so we agreed for him to come back in a couple days. So, upon his return, he used the special tool to press the pulley farther into the ps pump shaft which got it to line up with the other pulleys which corrected the belt problem but...... while running the engine to ensure the belt was tracking correctly, Rob noticed fuel spraying out of one of the fuel line fittings. So we got one problem resolved and found another. I ordered the new fitting and once it arrives I'll call on Rob again to come back and install the new fitting on the fuel line. He does good work at a fair price. I'm happy to have found him and we both live in the same town so I'm sure I will be using his services frequently. My Honda CR-V was seriously overheating. I took it to the dealership and was basically told that it was likely not worth fixing as it probably needed a new head gasket, radiator, thermostat and two fans - for starters. They also opined that an additional $2K worth of other repairs was needed soon, if not immediately. All in all, the repairs would substantially exceed the value of the 2006 vehicle.
