We have utilized Dakota Diggers for the last two years, renting equipment needed for big projects…read more Summer of 2017, we rented a cement mixer and a huge auger with an 8" bit. We rented on a Saturday for a full day which means it's ours through Sunday too, since they're not open on Sunday. They oblige you by leaving open locks on chains outside to return items on Sunday, since equipment is due back by 8am Monday morning. When returning all of that, there wasn't anywhere to put the auger bit safely chained up, so we kept it and I called Monday morning to let them know and they were very appreciative that we didn't just leave it. Last week we reserved a 6" wood chipper on Saturday and were allowed 8 hours of actual usage, which they have a Hobbs meter on several pieces of equipment to track the usage. The first chipper we hooked up to didn't work right, a belt seized and we ended up hooking up to another. The owner let me know that sometimes chips get stuck and cause that problem when they're being hauled back and to call if we had any problems; I was assured he'd come fix it if need be. The young man helping out topped off the fuel before we left and we were on our way. The chipper, like the auger and cement mixer helped us out immensely and we pushed through our projects. Dakota Diggers offers a huge selection of tools to rent, large and small and decent rates. They also offer trucking and sale of rock and dirt as well. We will continue to use them as we need machines while doing the hardscaping on our property!

I am so disappointed in the way I was treated by the employees of this company after a rock that…read morefell from their dump truck smashed my windshield On the Glenn Highway. I brought it to their attention immediately and was immediately treated rudely and essentially was told I was lying and that there is no way that could have happened. I explained that I saw the rock fly at me from the box, but they dismissed anything I said. I expected they would have offered to submit a claim through their insurance or perhaps offer to help pay for the repair. I used to be a customer, as I prefer to hire local companies, but I will never ever give business to these people who treat other people that way again.

I found AK Cell repair open- working in a cold office - after only recently getting power back to there shop as much of the valley is still without electrical power. I walked in with a dead phone- and out with one that was alive and functioning. They offer practical, price conscious solutions and options other then "you need a new phone" which is often the big box store solution. Prior to going over there in the windstorm I called to see if they would even be open at a time when many businesses are closed due to the weather. Their reply, "We will be here, as long as the power stays on." With out reservation I reccomend them to care for your phone which may have sustained trauma and may be on lifesupport at a time when you don't need an expensive new phone to pay for becuase your are trying to figure out how to pay for the repair to your roof that is flying down the street, or how to pay to get your pipes thawed out.
