After the ownership change, we decided to stop bringing our dog here after she had a full-blown panic attack during a visit. I do want to be clear that I'm not trying to dissuade anyone else from coming here. If you've had a positive experience, that may simply be your experience and your dog's experience. For us personally, our dog became extremely anxious. She would shake and pant uncontrollably just pulling into the parking lot, and based on her reaction, we no longer felt comfortable continuing to bring her here. I also want to share that I was uncomfortable seeing my previous five-star review displayed on the business website after the ownership change. That review was written based on my experience with the previous owners, not the current ownership, so I don't feel it accurately represents the experience someone would have under the current business. To me, using a review from a previous ownership period as current marketing feels misleading. Another concern for me was not being able to see what was happening behind the wall or observe the grooming process. We have since switched to a different grooming facility where our dog no longer shows this level of anxiety. They have windows where you can see the groomers working, and they are much more transparent about the process, which has given us peace of mind. This is simply my personal experience, and I recognize others may have had a different one. However, for our dog and our family, we do not feel comfortable returning.

She was very polite and honest with what could be done and not. I had trimmed her face earlier and boss lady wasn't any about telling me that I messed up lol. ("Why did you trim her body if you knew she was coming here!") I personally appreciate her forwardness, feels like home I hadn't had good luck with other groomers in the past. Yorkies can be hard to trim and shape due to their silky hair so I was very skeptical. I kept telling boss lady that I want her to look very cute. When I got her.... VERY cute. She didn't wag her tail, didn't come to me like she usually does, and was unusually quiet. Something felt off. That night she stayed calm at home, but the next morning, after just five minutes outside, she refused to walk. I noticed her paw was swollen and inflamed. The vet said it looked like trauma or possibly a burn around the nail bed, consistent with grooming-related injury. The salon later sent a photo of Daisy after the grooming, but it doesn't show her paws at all. That felt strange. When I called to share what happened and ask for accountability, the owner was cold, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the concern. I'm not here to point fingers, but I do want to share my experience. Daisy is healing now, but this was and still is a painful and stressful experience for both of us. We have a new appointment at the vet.

With a vacation coming up, I was scrambling to find a groomer at the last minute. I was so lucky to find Stylin' Hounds! They're in my neighborhood and I've walked past many times and never stopped inside. They got me a grooming appointment within 24 hours, they even called and bumped up my appointment time even earlier. I have an American Bully mix who is a big goof but scares some people by the way he looks and they're weren't intimidated at all. By the end of it he came out shiny and clean with a beautiful bow. They were gentle and sweet to my old chihuahua-mix as well and put a cute little necktie on her. They were such a sight to see after their baths! I still love my regular groomer, but it's such a relief to know that should anything happen again that I have another option. I was thoroughly impressed with my visit.

When I called to make my dogs appointment, I was clear when I said I wanted my dog cut super short. We don't worry about looks we are about function. I waited the two weeks for the appointment. I jumped through all the hoops to get her an appointment there. Sent vaccination records, filled out their three pages of paperwork. I arrived and explained AGAIN that I wanted it cut with their shortest blade possible either a #9 or #10 blade. She completely refused. My dog needed a cut so bad I was at a loss and just left her there for a cut. I am glad I did cause even if she has cut it as I actually wanted it I would NOT HAVE GONE BACK. The front desk girl is super nice, but the groomer is so rude. I have never been treated like that. I told her hey, next time can we please have it shorter. She kept asking me why, why, why... I explained to her 4 times 4 different ways why... and she just gave me the meanest look. My dog is 9 years old and has been getting her hair cut back to a #10 her whole life... why do I have to beg. She cut it with a #7 blade. Her rudeness sealed the deal. If I am going to drop $100 for her hair cuts, I am going to be treated with respect.

They contacted me the next morning and were even patient enough to wait for me to answer (screened the call using Google assist since I did not recognize the number). Alexes was professional and asked questions about my dog to make sure it was a good fit. He has never been groomed professionally before so I appreciate that they take the time to ask about the dog as well as my expectations. I scheduled for the following week. The location is easy to find just off 153rd. I rang the bell and was greeted by Angie and Alexes. They let Gryff smell around and smell them while we chatted and I signed the consent form. My boy decided to mark their sandwich sign in the lobby (which I am so sorry for!) I had my hands full with my baby and trying to finish the paperwork but they promptly cleaned it up for me and made me feel comfortable because they didn't have an angry or negative reaction and I knew that they would stay calm with my boy and treat him well. They estimated a 3 hour session and called me after 2.5 hours to let me know they were finishing up. Upon pickup they were friendly and showed me pictures of the bath process and told me about how it went. Thankfully it went well, Gryff was well behaved and now my dog is 10lbs lighter!

My 11-month-old French bulldog needed his nails trimmed and Angie was amazing. She takes time to talk to your pet to assure them everything will be OK, which in my opinion helps the process. My Frenchie was calm and enjoyed his nail trim. Definitely will be going back!
