They are quick with booking and you dont have to battle the months and weeks of waiting like you do at some of the Seattle groomers! Alex and his staff were kind and friendly! We have taken our Shih-Tzu here three times and every time he has done great, and come back with a great haircut! Never a problem nor an issue! Their prices are reasonable, and even if somewhat higher than other groomers, being flexible and able to book on the fly makes it worth that extra cost and not having to book months in advance is a huuuuuuge relief! We are thankful that they are here on the island!

She was very polite and honest with what could be done and not. I had trimmed her face earlier and boss lady wasn't any about telling me that I messed up lol. ("Why did you trim her body if you knew she was coming here!") I personally appreciate her forwardness, feels like home I hadn't had good luck with other groomers in the past. Yorkies can be hard to trim and shape due to their silky hair so I was very skeptical. I kept telling boss lady that I want her to look very cute. When I got her.... VERY cute. Everything was very even and she trimmers her ear and paws very clean. I'll be coming here regularly now.

I'm really heartbroken writing this…read more Daisy, my 14-year-old dog, came in for grooming and was returned looking clean... but clearly not herself. She didn't wag her tail, didn't come to me like she usually does, and was unusually quiet. Something felt off. That night she stayed calm at home, but the next morning, after just five minutes outside, she refused to walk. I noticed her paw was swollen and inflamed. The vet said it looked like trauma or possibly a burn around the nail bed, consistent with grooming-related injury. The salon later sent a photo of Daisy after the grooming, but it doesn't show her paws at all. That felt strange. When I called to share what happened and ask for accountability, the owner was cold, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the concern. I'm not here to point fingers, but I do want to share my experience. Daisy is healing now, but this was and still is a painful and stressful experience for both of us. We have a new appointment at the vet.

You guys really care about dogs not money My dog is grooming at somewhere else for the past five months and she is well cared, not matted not tangled. You saying that because you don't want to do the service because that's not easy money. I heard from others about you recommended'cutting hair' 'shaving' for more money for many excuses. Poor dogs! Previous comments: Very unprofessional. When we arrived at our appointment, staff complained about my Samoyed's winter coat too thick and said they couldn't wash her, dry her and brush her, unless they shaved her. Samoyeds are supposed to have thick fur in winter time. If you can't handle large double-coat breeds, just say so when we book the appointment -- don't shame the customer, waste our time. It felt like they only want "easy money" from small dogs now and no longer care about proper service. Won't be back.

With a vacation coming up, I was scrambling to find a groomer at the last minute. I was so lucky to find Stylin' Hounds! They're in my neighborhood and I've walked past many times and never stopped inside. They got me a grooming appointment within 24 hours, they even called and bumped up my appointment time even earlier. I have an American Bully mix who is a big goof but scares some people by the way he looks and they're weren't intimidated at all. By the end of it he came out shiny and clean with a beautiful bow. They were gentle and sweet to my old chihuahua-mix as well and put a cute little necktie on her. They were such a sight to see after their baths! I still love my regular groomer, but it's such a relief to know that should anything happen again that I have another option. I was thoroughly impressed with my visit.

I was extremely concerned how she would do at her appointment, I explained my concerns to Amber when I was dropping her off, she assured me if Sake wasn't doing well she'd stop. She took the time to call me and let me know Sake was doing well and had relaxed. Sake was a happy lil girl when I picked her up, more so than ever. They contacted me the next morning and were even patient enough to wait for me to answer (screened the call using Google assist since I did not recognize the number). Alexes was professional and asked questions about my dog to make sure it was a good fit. He has never been groomed professionally before so I appreciate that they take the time to ask about the dog as well as my expectations. I scheduled for the following week. The location is easy to find just off 153rd. I rang the bell and was greeted by Angie and Alexes. They let Gryff smell around and smell them while we chatted and I signed the consent form. My boy decided to mark their sandwich sign in the lobby (which I am so sorry for!) I had my hands full with my baby and trying to finish the paperwork but they promptly cleaned it up for me and made me feel comfortable because they didn't have an angry or negative reaction and I knew that they would stay calm with my boy and treat him well. They estimated a 3 hour session and called me after 2.5 hours to let me know they were finishing up. Upon pickup they were friendly and showed me pictures of the bath process and told me about how it went. Thankfully it went well, Gryff was well behaved and now my dog is 10lbs lighter!

My 11-month-old French bulldog needed his nails trimmed and Angie was amazing. She takes time to talk to your pet to assure them everything will be OK, which in my opinion helps the process. My Frenchie was calm and enjoyed his nail trim. Definitely will be going back!
