We opted for the simple foot massage, which isn't really just foot massaging, but includes head, shoulder and back massages. We've been to plenty of these massages, and this experience ranks among the best. They knew all the pressure points and just how much pressure to apply, but just in case they always ask whether the pressure was okay. The masseuses relied heavily on using her elbows, and the pressure felt inconsistent - more like random elbowing than an actual deep tissue massage. She also used so much oil to the point where the hot stones and towels didn't remove it all. I had to shower immediately after getting home. The session also felt overly focused on my glutes rather than being a full-body massage (~80% glute 20% other parts of body). At one point, accidental contact was made which made me uncomfortable. I was honestly so surprised and tried to process everything but I wish I had stopped the massage. I then was asked to turn over for a brief face massage that lasted less than a minute, and oil was used there as well, which felt odd. I did also come with someone so we shared a room together. A green, thin towel on top of the massage bed was used to cover my body. I mistakenly went underneath the thin white sheet and Lucy had to adjust the cloth for me. I was a bit embarrassed. Towards the second half of the massage, Lucy used hot stones which was warm and unexpected. She asked if I was okay and was nice about it. I didn't ask her many questions. Maybe on my next visit. I felt a lot of the knots in my upper shoulders. For an hour massage at only $40, this is a great deal, especially for a last minute booking. The ambiance felt a little odd though. They don't have actual doors, just curtains for the full body massage. Conversations and footsteps can be heard from other rooms and the hallway. The customers that opted for leg massages are out in the open next to the front entrance and check in counter.
