I have been taking my dog to work for 10+ years and there was hair everywhere. When he was done there is not a hair to be found. The 17 year old (230,000 miles) car now looks like it just came off the show room when I bought it in 2008. My headlights were so cloudy you could not see out of them, and I tried everything sold on the internet to clear them up to no avail. He made them as clear as daylight almost like he put brand new headlight lens's in. The exterior paint shines like brand new and the tire rims are completely cleaned and polished. Do better Safelight!! This is unacceptable..the tech told me that there was a 1/1000 chance that it wouldn't work.. never told me that it would create another crack/problem that they won't warranty. So now I have to go to someone reliable get a new windshield and replace the tint. My mind is blown..I thought Safelight was a reputable company. I've cared for all of my cars and treated them all like a Ferrari GTO even if they were a Chevy Citation or a Honda CRX. I took pride in the care and detail of all of my cars. I thought I was anal about cleaning my cars! Before I handed over the keys to my baby we discussed practices and thoughts on car care. Carlos was checking all the boxes. Pre soak, soap foam cannon, rinse, clay bar, wax, etc. I felt confident he was going to do a killer job. Next day I picked up my car, holy sh*t! Since the crack was over 6" it was the latter. * Made an appt for the following morning, which was very convenient... I'm used to living in enormous cities where even dr's appts take 1-3 wks, so this was a pleasant surprise. * They could have made a visit to my home for repairs (which is fantastic), but I'm visiting the area, staying with family, who live in an apt complex & I didn't want to upset the neighbors by taking up multiple parking spaces. But, for locals, that's an incredibly convenient service. * Dropped it off, walked to a local deli for a great, affordable breakfast (Goldstein's... see my review), walked about for 1-1/2 hrs, then ventured back... my car was finished the moment I arrived... 2-1/2 hrs. * Since I'm paying cash, it was lovely to pay just shy of $300 for a new windshield. Glitches (but nothing serious): * I was unable to schedule an appt via their website (some glitch that tested my frustration level after 6 attempts on 2-days) & I never did make it through to an agent via phone... maybe everyone on the planet is getting glass replacement today. :) Not a big deal, but a frustration. * There was some confusion with an insurance claim I'd opened with my insurance provider (they couldn't find it in the computer), but it wasn't a big deal since with my $500 deductible, my windshield replacement was $200 less, so I didn't need to file a claim. To be clear, they did offer to investigate, if I wanted to go that route, which is great customer service. All in all, a great experience. They did a very nice job, quickly, on time.
