Great experience all around. The people are fantastic. Things are even better now that they are…read morepart of Empire from Cashman in Nevada.

Beautiful facility, great looking equipment however that's where it ends…read more I was in the market for a wheel loader. I was interested in the Catepillar 907 and some attachments. I was in the area so I decided to visit in person and inquire. I was introduced to a sales rep named Justin. After finding the right equipment and figuring out wait times and delivery information, I knew what equipment I wanted and needed. I was given a rough paper estimate at the time of my visit however I was promised the exact invoice quote via email. After leaving the facility I was never followed up with or contacted by Cashman equipment again. Two weeks later I needed the quote to make a decision on Catepillar or a competing brand. So I called, left a message with their call center asking for my quote. They had no information on me or the equipment so I had to start all over. Finally I got a call from Justin, sadly he didn't even remember my name or the meeting we had a couple weeks earlier. So I went through all the details again! He did email me a quote but now the cost was $20k higher than the rough paper quote I received when I visited two weeks prior. My theory is that Justin not remembering the conversation quickly threw together a quote to get me off his back. When I confronted the big price increase I was lectured on the Cashman reliability and service that is supposed to blow away the competition. Hold on a sec, you didn't even remember my name or the meeting. You quickly threw together something I researched probably more than Justin did during his training. How does that show platinum status service and support. When a sales transaction feels like no one cares I'm sure service won't be any better. I may only be purchasing a single piece of equipment for $120k and not millions of dollars in equipment like I'm guessing a lot of their customers do, but you don't know what I might purchase in the future or whom I might know to refer. This was just down right horrible salesmanship. Catepillar has a great product but it's only as good as it's support system and Cashman in my eyes lacks the support. I did send a follow up email explaining my experience however I never got a response from anyone, which also shows a lot. I just finished with a competitor who was awesome look for my review of their transaction with me.
