purchased this 2001 mx-5 a few months ago. love listening to music but the only way to get audio was thru a bluetooth radio transmitter. if you've ever used that, you know that it sucks cause it sounds muddy. the car had stock bose sound system and i knew it sounded great with direct audio. been meaning to get swap it out for a new deck but just didn't have the time. yesterday i finally had the time to replace the deck. could've ordered online and did it myself but i said to myself, you know what.. imma get it done professionally and quickly cause i'm just tired of the terrible audio quality. i first stopped by the local best buy but they had no equipment and no one to do installations. i'm happy they didn't because it wouldn't have led me here. i referred to yelp and looked at a couple different audio companies. seen the MOBILE CSR AUDIO in Oakley was super close and had ONLY 5 STAR reviews. that's enough for me. i gave them a call and was assisted by, Will. when i called he was on his lunch with his wife. told me to stop by in 20 min. i killed time, got coffee down the street at dutch bros. pulled up to his garage and was impressed by the equipment they had. i was greeted by will and his wife who were just finishing their lunch. told will what i was looking for in terms of audio. he then recommend me a couple different options. (mind you my career is in sales) so i respected his sales pitch in newer and more advanced equipment. i thanked will for his offer but let him know i was just looking for a deck to give me either direct bluetooth or auxiliary audio connection. we agreed on a price. i've done my research and knew it was reasonable with the exception of supporting a private business. i accepted the price. Will and his wife worked together to get the proper equipment for my car and quickly and professionally installed the deck. i let him know how this year mx5 had a retractable antenna that i despised because it looked goofy. he disabled the connection for the antenna at ease and then also showed me how to easily navigate and use the new deck. (yes it's easy but always helpful to know more) i the equipment came with a 1 year warranty on the receipt of purchase. the audio sounds 100x better and makes driving the car that much more fun. i can't thank will and his wife for a great experience. i will definitely recommend this business to anyone who is looking to upgrade their cars audio. Will ( the owner/operator) is amazing. He can do literally almost anything for a good price and he is such a perfectionist. We have been working with him for a couple of weeks on two of our cars. One he put a brand new stereo, back up camera brand new led lights in all the inside lights. In our other car he put in new fog lights, rearview mirror and other stuff. Will blew me away by how good he is. I gave him a tricky conversion of a 2005 car that requires a bunch of parts from Japan to make it fit a modern stereo. He installed the stereo, microphone, rearview camera, usb port, and got it working with steering wheel controls. He did it all about twice as fast as I thought he would for less money than other installers were asking. Throughout the whole process he was sending me pics and asking if I had preferences. I came in to have my stereo rewired, got a new in dash, a new box for my Sub,Viper Alarm with the smart start system and a back up camera installed. Will is very knowledgeable and is a true professional he did a amazing set up on my trailblazer SS, and it came out perfect.
