Having your car break down is never a fun experience, but I actually didn't mind the trouble simply because of the fact that we got to meet Ken, Rayburn and the boys at Decatur Highway. They are great mechanics who quickly found the problem and formulated a plan to get us back on the road as quick as possible. However, their hospitality and genuine kindness are what stood out the most! It truly felt like we were family.

I waited a few days and called back in which he stated that he had the transmission rebuilt and was working on getting it back in, I was not happy. I received a quote of $5,080.00 for the work done. I had a quote from a different shop for a brand new transmission for $6000.00. I got the car back 3-4 days later and about 2-3 weeks later noticed there was a shudder in which he said on 2 occasions of bringing the car to him that he couldn't feel anything wrong with it, so wife continued to drive the car. The transmission lasted a little over a year and approximately 20,000 miles before it was shifting horribly and lost reverse all together. It was over the warranty period so I didn't even bothalling Kenny's back. We have had to let the car go back as we are still paying on the car and the loan we took out to have the transmission rebuilt, which with the quote I was given after the work was started I wouldve opted for the brand new one. This was and is the worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop.

I ended up walking nearly two miles to a gas station for help. When I got there, the attendant didn't hesitate--he said, "Warrior Tire." That recommendation turned out to be one of the biggest blessings of my day. When I was finally able to get my vehicle to the shop, I explained everything that had happened, along with my history of tire issues. I also shared that I've felt taken advantage of by repair shops in the past because I'm not very knowledgeable about cars. Anita at the front desk and the guys in the shop treated me with so much kindness, honesty, and respect. They took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand and were completely transparent with me.
