So, if you want a jar of mayo or a can of soup, you'll find out the price at the register. The very best thing about this BP station is Eli's Deli which occupies a nook in the front left corner of the building.

My wife had a similar bizarre experience here. She bought a newspaper and handed the guy $2. He was jammering away on the phone throughout their transaction. Pumps are on both sides of the building, but the parking lot is pretty small, so be careful. Decent sized convenience store inside with bagels and donuts and a large selection of Green Mountain coffees. Plenty of newspapers, and they carry the NY Post and NY Daily News. Have been going here for 25+ years and have always received a smile and friendly service from whoever was behind the counter.

They also offer breakfast sandwiches. I got my husband the Philly with peppers and onions on a grinder. She cooked the meat to order not in a microwave and the bread was humongous! Very flavorful, big chunks of peppers, plenty of cheese. I got a turkey and Swiss on a roll with tomato and lettuce. I was actually a little overwhelmed at all the choices since it was my first time there so I went with a basic choice. The meat was sliced to order, the roll was large and fresh, made nicely and you get a bag of chips with each sandwich. She was very friendly and it didn't take long. Her husband was nice enough and gave my son two candies. We enjoyed the food and the fact that it was prepared fresh. I think we'll start going there for a good sandwich!

But Canton Citgo has carried kerosene for as long as I can remember. This can be a life-line for some people in a winter storm crisis. Inside, this station is really nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And they offer several flavors of delicious, locally-roasted Baronet coffee. It seems to be made fresh frequently. Always delicious, with numerous flavors from which to choose. A nice, convenient, important place I'm happy to award five stars to.

Typically, I don't review gas stations but this one is pretty new, clean, and large. There's an electric vehicle charging station, diesel, gasoline, and a Dunkin attached. When we went, the drive through was not ready yet but it looks like there will be one. There are restrooms and plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. They also serve coffee, breakfast, grinders, and ice cream.

They've just been open for two weeks and offered a rock-bottom gas price of just $2.89 a gallon. Oh, and by the way, they have an incredibly sweet number of 16 gas pumps. It was one of my cheapest fill ups in quite a while. After I gassed up, I went inside to check out the store and buy a lottery ticket. Well, they've been open for such a short time they're not quite ready to start pumping out those tickets yet. Their spacious convenience store was neat as a pin and stocked to overflowing, and I saw a Dunkin' counter way off to the left. The young lady at the convenience store register was personable and very friendly when I chatted with her about the place. Noble's website says they are "a Connecticut-based business bringing high-end automobile re-fueling centers to New England". There's a few of them around Hartford and spread across the state. Some have carwashes and EV charging stations, but I think it's too early to see what the Day Hill location will end up with. I saw that Noble is also building a Truck Service and Diesel center pretty much next door at 1966 Day Hill Road. They are a very welcome addition to Day Hill Road and all of its office buildings and commuters.
