So far is the same, great quality as in the past, I ordered a chicken cordon blu sandwich, and deli made the sandwich pretty quickly after ordered. The chicken was tender and fried perfectly, without a lose of flavor or being dried out, a generous amount of ham, cut paper thin and just right amount of honey mustard, wish it had more provolone cheese though, since hardly noticed it. This place maybe a gas station but they make a great sandwich and am glad it's same great service as it was back years prior.

Having dinner, excellent by the way, then a pilot female employee entered phone out, volumn so loud couldn't hear tv. After many minutes I spoke up over (loud) her noise "mam can you turn that down. We don't want to listen to it". She starts telling me I'm rude, she won't turn it down that I should leave. Several other employees intervened. Other word were exchanged. She made a negative comment about me and she will do what she wants. I'm took the comment as racist and said 'Oh she wants to play the race card, she said, I left it alone. Got my stuff and left. Common courtesy, there lack of by her was obvious. Several other restaurant customers were saying to the other employees that they were trying to listen to the football game. I left . This is a newer model of the Cumberland Farms chain. This store was recently built after the older…read morestyle Cumberland Farms was tore down to make room for this new one. The new store is at least 3x larger than the older one. As such, it features an updated and modern design, the parking lot is larger, and there are many more gas pumps. There is an abundance of parking on the front and side of the building, with doors on both sides and entrances on both the 17K and Rock Cut Road sides of the parking lot. This is much more efficient than the old store. The inventory is wide-ranged. There are a few shelves with perishable foods and miscellaneous items, but much of the store contains fresh food -- hot or cold. There is a variety of a little bit of everything. Staff are friendly and plenty. I stopped in just before midnight on a weeknight and there were 4 employees working. Two were stocking the shelves, one was cleaning, and the other was a cashier (who was also cleaning). Staff were extremely friendly and 2 employees went out of their ways to advise me that uniformed personnel (military, law enforcement, etc.) always get coffee for free. A few customers came in and out, but the amount of staff on hand was easily able to keep up with the flow, plus there were still enough employees to get the other jobs done (stocking, cleaning, etc.). For a gas station / convenience store, this is impressive. I hope it lasts.

They also have the E-85 fuel (for vehicles containing the "flex fuel" option). The store inside is generally clean and stocked well. They have a decent assortment of typical gas station food and coffee. The staff generally seem pretty cold and down in the dumps, although I'm not sure why. You don't get a friendly feeling when you walk into this store. If I'm in the area, I generally use this gas station for the cheap fuel prices but not for the store.

I also like the fact that there's two entrances to get in and out of this valero. one entrance is off of the main road 17 K and the other entrance is down a side street off of 17 K. From there then you can turn into the gas station. One of the biggest bonuses of this gas station is that they are one of the only gas stations in the Newburgh area that have E-85 gas This Valero is a pretty big gas station it is a full service convenient store as well. The staff here is great the two same guys are pretty much there every single time that I come here. There is a full service subway restaurant inside of the gas station that has its own subway staff members. I have eaten at that subway a few times on the way back from trips and they do do a good job for a subway. Overall this is the gas station that I go to get my gas. not only do they carry regular gas but they also carry E-85 gas. The station has a lot of pumps and the staff is always friendly. Have gone way down hill recently…read more. Drive 25 minutes to work- Sit down to eat the sandwich I ordered , the roll has 1/2 inch of butter on it . The lazy people there unwrapped a buttered roll and used it for sandwiches. I called and they don't care- all he said was "buddy don't make a big deal I'll give you 6$ back" it's the point that people order lunch and go back to work and then have no lunch because they ruined it. This was their second strike....not giving them a 3rd... There are too many other options for sandwiches in Walden- I suggest using the others.
