The employee was sitting inside with the door locked for at least 10 minutes and then when a line formed at the door. He claimed he was on his 10 minute break. It was clear he had been sitting inside with the door locked for more than 10 minutes. He then came out of the store locked the door and went to his car to go sit around and get paid to do nothing some more. read more

Pumps are frequently not open when they were supposed to be, hours state 6 but well into the hour they are still closed. Either update your hours or open on time. read more

Price is a little cheaper usually than the others in this neighborhood. For the most part the CSR's are friendly but there are exceptions of course. Small little convenience store inside but the coffee is always available and the 5th cup is always free. At times I've had issues at the pump and am required to go in to give my CC to the CSR. I went inside and asked for assistance from Robert he said "I don't know I can't help you" can't you reset the pump, "I don't know how to do that, please move aside so I can help the next person in line" needles to say that ff was useless and I ended having to solve the problem using any means necessary, until it let go of my card finally since their rep obviously didn't care. I'd like to begin by saying what a disgrace the Mobil station is in PQ. I attempted to pump gas at three different pumps none of which worked. After asking the blue haired cashier if he was out of gas because none of his pumps were working, he replied by telling me after it rains sometimes the pumps stop working. I was tempted to ask him, if he heard what he just said. What do mean the pumps stop working after if rains!!!!?? So I have to play musical pumps to figure out which one is good!!!?? His reply... Slowest pumps around! This gas station drives me crazy but it is super close to my house so I do go here when I have to on occasion. The pumps go so slow for some reason and that includes pumping the fuel and registering your credit info, so annoying. I have gone into the store a few times with my son for him to buy a drink, chips or whatever junk it is he is asking for and the employee have always been really nice and professional. read more

4 stars for price! This gas station off Black Mountain Rd, although a bit inland from the freeways (56), is consistently cheaper than the other gas stations in the area. Because the location is tucked away, it must not be frequented by many people. I've never had to wait and am always in and out of the station quickly. read more

I stopped in to buy 2 drinks and some gum. When I went to pay, the cashier was finishing a text on his cell phone and had very little of anything that resembled a greeting. When I went to pay, he asked if I wanted to donate my change (80 cents) to the Red Cross, in which I replied, sure. The Red Cross donation box was in plain view on the counter. The cashier was really slow at digging my change out of the drawer as he returned to his phone with one hand. As I exited, I kept my eye on him to see if he would in fact put my change in the Red Cross container... Instead he slowly closed the cash drawer, squated down below the counter reaching for something down below. I then reentered the store and asked if they put the change in the box on the counter, when people say they'll donate their change... He seemed surprised to see me again, but answered, yes. I replied, funny cause I didn't see you put my change in there... He didn't have a reply. I suspect that he is keeping peoples change, so when I got home, I wrote Mobil directly, asking if they could review their tapes and get back to me... A week later and I still haven't heard back. I won't be back to this Mobil or any for their lack of communication, as I refuse to be taken advantage of or support those who take advantage of others. read more

I love this station for some reason. I like that they don't play ads at the pumps. I love that I never have to go inside!

I wish they place had 24 hour pump access. Like the shell station down the street they close at 11. So no late night gas fill-ups here. Nice location close to home. Prices are inline with the shell station sink guess it comes down to if I need gas after shopping at vons, I'd go here in the way home. read more

This gas station is a little further off the 56 but its always cheaper sometimes A LOT cheaper like 7 to 10 cents even, then the shell that's right off the 56. I know one of the cashiers personally and she is a very sweet lady. tho i cant speak for the other workers plus not all of us even go into the station anyways. For those of us who don't i will say that there is a lot of spaces to fill up at so there is rarely ever a wait plus the lot size here is super large. read more

I had a horrible experience at this gas station on 9/17/19, around 5:20 PM. I pulled up to a pump at which the first pump appeared normal, and the second had a yellow bag over the pump indicating "out of order." There was an orange cone in between the two pumps. To me, it looked like the cone was intended to block the 2nd, out of order pump. As I started to put my credit card in, a man came up and basically started telling me that I was an idiot and that the pumps were obviously out of order. He was rolling his eyes and was genuinely rude. I pointed out that there was no out of order sign on the pump that I had pulled up to, and that he didn't need to be rude. He then told me that I had run over the cone, which I had not. I said never mind then and got in my car to drive away. He yelled after me, "get out of here!" This is a white male employee with some facial hair! and a baseball cap, probably around 30 years old. It was very rude treatment of a customer who made an honest mistake. Very upsetting experience and I will not be going back to this gas station. read more

I LOVE the car wash done by the lil business in the parking lot. They are SO thorough and whether I do the regular or top of the line wash I always get my car back looking like I just spent $100's of dollars on it at a detail shop. CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION ARE NOT SECURE. Only pay in cash if you buy gas here. Do not use a credit card to buy gas here. I have multiple friends / family members who have had credit cards hacked buying gas here. I don't think they've resolved the security issues yet. read more

I been a regular customer going to this gas station here In Rancho Peñasquitos, I always greeted the employees by there name and they're usually friendly with me. They started this pleni points reward system where u can save or have certain percentage off today 2/27/2018 I went in and tried paying with a debit card and used my plenti points after the sale went through I check my receipt for my points I didn't see that I got my pints and told the lady at the counter I didn't get my point she lost her customer service level by giving me attitude that go complain to the management about it. I did and jerrod the management said he will take care of it.this other time I went in the circle k store and the employee Asia was working and I went in with my niece and nephew they got something from the candy isle and as I was going to the counter to pay for it this customer behind me this man and lady was trying to see my debit card purchase PIN number I notice it at first but after the employee Asia told me to use the other credit card debit card machine they memorize my PIN number and was standing right beside me after I used my plenti points but didn't know what to do next I exited the store and they got into a blue Mazda car I got home and check my bank to see if they reused my card or not and thank god nobody used it. I went back to the store the other Sunday and had this customer complaining that she saw this couple by the premises stealing things from people in the parking lot it could be the same person that tried to steal my PIN number the other time but she told the employee that wasn't the same Mobil clerk and she said that when she told the other employer about it the lady didn't care.
