I went around 2pm today and was pleasantly surprised that there was not a long line. Technically, there were more cars in line to pump for those with the gas tank on the left side of their vehicle but I chose to pump from the opposite side. I think today's trip was record time with me pulling in, pulling up, and pulling off. With gas prices being $4.99 at Circle K, I was happy to drive to my favorite Costco and pump gas for $4.69. But usually, I always am. Anyway, another successful trip to Costco and I didn't even go in!

The issue with places like cobblestone is that they don't pay any attention to those parts of the car. By having a handheld wand, you can get at those hard to reach places. When you use a credit card here, be sure to hit the green button to get the clock ticking. Then, just pay attention to the digital clock that is tracking how many minutes you are using the bay for. When you are done, be sure to hit the green button again. I think people are being overcharged because they let the clock continue to tick without manually ending their session. The water pressure is extremely high, and does a great job of removing those mud bits. Would totally recommend for somebody who wants a do it yourself approach to washing your car. I didn't use any of the other features, nor did I hand dry. I only visited specifically to remove the mud. Does the job.

I like the soda fountain station, and the multitude of snacks QuikTrip has to offer. I always manage to find a snack I hadn't had in quite some time, and it just calls my name. Reasonably priced gas, ice cold drinks, and snacks, it doesn't get any better.

Especially on something I'm purchasing weekly. You have to be a member, and if you are, enjoy the cost savings. Second, Costco's gas is better than most other gas stations. Or so they say. All indications are that this is true though I haven't done deep research to confirm it. Costco has a lot of locations around town, so there's usually one pretty close by when I need it. This particular location is the closest one to my home. It's typically not as busy as other locations I've been to in the Phoenix area. One of the downsides of getting gas at Costco is that it's almost always busy. Lots of people are onto the same thing as I am. The good news is that since they have a lot of pumps, you get through the line quickly. Part of what helps is that their pumps are super long so you can pump from either side. You don't have to go to the pump on the same side as your fuel tank as you do at most gas stations. Brilliant!

Anyways, I had just 5 gallons left and needed to fill up nearby, and this fit the bill. I stopped by on a weekday mid-afternoon and pulled right into an empty spot. The machines take debit or credit cards, and the station is open 24/7 if you're using either payment method. Knocked it down a star because my receipt didn't print, and when I pulled at the receipt tape, it gave me the one from the previous transaction. Not a huge deal but not ideal. I don't shop at Walmart nor do I want to support it, but when presented with no other good options, this was my solution. Also, it was $0.05 cheaper than the neighboring Costco which was nice. Will I be back? Not willingly, Costco cash back is still a better deal, but I do appreciate that this was an option when I needed it.
