Was this at one point the side of the road, but the road was widened and the business owner fought to keep it there? Did a stork bring it? I've got questions!

The lady leading the young men seemed very nice and pretty knowledgeable. However, the work they did on my truck was nothing short of a disaster. Although it took about an hour or more for them to get done. The time it took them wasn't necessarily an issue. The damage under the hood was. They had a hard time getting the oil filter off and ended up cracking something under the hood with whatever wrench they tried to use. While doing so they cut a coolant line as well. Ever since I've been having an overheating issue, and having to put more coolant in my car than usual. And Now my car is in the shop. I was on the side of the road in the middle of the night waiting for roadside assistance trying to figure out how I'm going to get to work in the morning. I do believe they knew they did something wrong and still let me leave.

The station is easy enough to access from I-64 / US-40 though I wouldn't recommend it if you're driving a larger vehicle as you will need to make a u-turn to get back to the highway. Good cover with shelter from the elements and a short walk to the convenience store, which I did not have to go into today. The receipt printer worked and the station was clean/tidy. I needed to drop off some mail at the USPS across the street and the line was very long, so I popped into ZX to grab a soda while I waited. After I paid, my cashier told me to wait a moment, then pulled out a paper towel and wiped off the lip of my can so that I could drink it without worrying about germs. It was such a small gesture, but it was a very thoughtful thing to do. The world needs more of that right now.

The gas is no longer Phillips 66, it is now Mobil. The signage and retail products inside is now all On The Run. During the transition, I strayed and started going to the QT up the street. i quickly loss interest in their offerings and customer service and started to come back here. I am so glad that I did. It is actually better now then when it was U Gas and I really liked them. I've needed to grab an easy breakfast/lunch for work and have been impressed with the offerings from OTR. For quick and easy packaged food they're better then those at QT and what was previously offered by Gigi's at U Gas. Also, I enjoy your coffee way more. Customer service is cheerful. This location is crammed into a small lot but has 10 fuel pumps plus the C-store. The store has the typical snacks, packaged foods, grill items, coffee and fountain drinks, and refrigerated liquor and soft drinks. There's an on-site ATM machine, too. It's near interstate 270 but access back to the highway at this busy intersection can be challenging at heavy traffic times.

I asked to speak to the manager and I told her you only have three lanes going. You have huge long lines people pay for membership here. Why do you not have more cashiers? She blamed it on the cashiers she said we just can't get people to work people quit and I said well. The three cashiers that you have working really hard right now are going to quit because you're overworking them one of the cashiers was looking at me with a big smile on her face shaking her head yes. My membership will be due in August and I don't think I will renew it. I don't pay $65 for a membership to stand in a line that has 20 to 30 people in front of me or to have to use a self checkout.

The Indian people have bought it, and as usual in those 711 owned by them, the service can not be so good, at least not for me, and I have visited a lot of these stores. The two youngsters were playing around and gave me that (LOTTERY MACHINE IS DOWN) crap, not knowing I have gotten that in their stores a lot so I just don't go to them. So I made up my mind to just not go to 711s never again regardless what state I'm in. I have Quik trip and Circle K where the service is better all the time. These folks have attitudes with certain people and risk being the recipients of a large lottery win. The McCausland store is no more. The old staff were friendly but not now.
