I really don't like feeling obligated to tip at full service stations. Not that I'm cheap and don't tip, it's just that I don't carry cash, and it's always this awkward situation where "I would give you something if I carried cash more often."This really cool retro defender pulled up next to me. I didn't go into the store full disclosure so I don't know how the service was inside, but I saw people coming in and out waving smiling. At one point the cashier was standing outside, smoking a cigarette smiling and contributing to the all-around positive vibes of the place. I would definitely come here again to get gas.

So agree with Jack E. that they don't trick or confuse you with the 2 different prices. So far they have been professional and haven't tried to cheat me like at Sunoco's. Haven't had any notable interactions or experiences at this place. However, I would say even if it's slightly more expensive and not in as convenient of a location as Sunoco (in the corner intersection of 9 East and West), I'd still rather go here.

Patriot Petro is my go-to station for gas. Why? The price for regular is cheapest around (bring…read morecash!), it's a full-serve station, and I live and work less than 5 minutes away. They take credit/debit, but the price per gallon is 7 cents more. Technically, they can do this because it's advertised as a 7-cent-per-gallon discount if you pay cash. What I don't like about this gas station is its layout and tendency to get jammed up during rush hour. It's located right off Route 9 West and sometimes the line extends into the shoulder. If you approach the station from Cedar St, there's a weird turn-off that you need to take which is also the on-ramp for Rt 9 ... confusing if someone's not familiar with the roads. Overall, Patriot works for me. 3 stars for an A-OK, but I'm not in love or anything!
