My husband and I tried a salted pretzel with nacho cheese sauce and creamy mustard sauce. The pretzel itself was cooked perfectly. Texture wise it was somewhat crispy on the outside with a very fluffy center. The nacho cheese sauce was better than cheese sauces I've had before. The creamy mustard was reallll good, we ended up taking the remainder of it home so we could use it for something else.

But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sales person was pleasant and quick. This store is their biggest store, and they feed the Winfield and Schaumburg stores. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. It does have a limited selection of products but they were all pretty good. The brownies are very frudgey, just the way I like them. The cake pops are sweet, but a little dry. The cookie has a lot of chips in them. Overall, I liked the place.

My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. There are several places for great photo ops too. Service throughout was great. The staff member that assisted me was very helpful and friendly. He may have been the only person there and he was able to keep up with the constant influx of customers. I got a hot Yemeni chai as my drink and it was creamy, bold, and flavorful. MOTW's chai is my favorite when compared to other Yemeni shops. It is sooooo good!! For food I got a samosa empanada which was very tasty. I appreciate that they warmed it up for me too. There is an up charge for sauce, which I did get. The spicy aioli paired very well with the samosa empanada. I believe the empanadas are from savory crust.

The Rude sauce had some kick to it; definitely not as sugary as the orange sauce at other chicken places. I will say, too, that the mild version at Rude Rooster has a little more kick than the mild version at other chicken places. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. Not the best chicken I've had, but not bad. Pricing was on par with other chicken places and service was not rude.
