He didn't even know what a tow truck was and he seemed lost. I know, Night Shift guys pumping gas may not know who to recommend. I got a tow after hitting google and had the car dropped off. Spoke to the owner the following day at 7. Explain the situation with my car with the ABS lights. He told me he'll look at it at some point during the day. That I just gotta give him time cause he's jammed up and to call in the afternoon to see if they had a chance to check it out. I called at 1 o'clock and a lady answer the phone told me they were just about to put the car into the bay to work on and call back in about an hour. I call back in an hour. The owner picks up and start screaming at me like a lunatic. I've never been spoken to such a way in all my years working customer service and dealing with the public; he was screaming at me so much my boss could hear him over the phone and we were looking at each other horrified. Like I told him I understand you jammed up I was just told by the young lady you were bringing into the bay in an hour ago and call and see if you figure out what the issue was. I can't get off the phone. He would not let me get off the phone screaming at me for over a five minutes and how they still did it look at the issue on the car yet. I called him back later in the day as I'm about to leave work at 4 and I told him I just need to know if you have an idea what the issue is and if I have to make arrangements for the following day for a ride; and again screaming at me like a wild lunatic to only call me a half an hour later and they fixed the car quoted me 300 when I got there it went up to 500 and change. And again he kept yelling at me that I wasn't giving them time and how dare I call. I refuse to do business with them again and I do not recommend them to anyone there is no reason to speak to a human being that way to carry on like a psychopath and as it is, I gotta take the car now to another mechanic this morning cause the brakes aren't working after what they did. Very poor customer service attitude, and I am incredibly angry and disappointed in the way I was treated and spoken to and that the amount of money I spent I gotta still take my car to another Mechanic. If I could get this place a negative star I absolutely would. I would never do business with him again. I won't even get gas with them again. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service.

Neil checked it out--"The front brakes aren't even close to needing replacement" and "There is a broken bolt in the running board that we took care of for you." All auto repair shops should be as competent, honest, and fair as the Roslyn Car Care Center! Keep up the great work!

And heat change, light change, Wheel rotator ( dunno the term, but u get the idea), belt change, towing my car. And many more services. I love how honest they are too. One night while i was driving home from work i realized the light inside my car was dark. I wasn't able to see my speedometer. And it was pretty scary bc just my luck i got lost driving and wasn't able to see how fast/slow i was driving on the highway. Thankfully i made it home. Took my car in the next day, explained the situation and Tom was able to fix it w.o charging me a penny bc it was some switch that was accidentally switched. Now you see, i bet if it was any other mechanic shop they would keep your car, have you wait and then later on charge you for a couple of hours for their man hours. (I know this from experience) i took my car in to pep boys one time in Queens they kept my car overnight. And lets just say the next morning i wasnt a happy camper! 1-Star Review…read more Extremely disappointing experience -- think twice before working here or trusting this shop with your vehicle. I'm writing this as a former employee who genuinely came to this shop ready to work hard and do my job. I'm a husband and father who was working to provide for my family, and I always tried to keep God first, treat people with respect, and give customers the best service I could. I showed up early, worked hard, and made sure customers were getting in and out. I wasn't hired to be somebody's personal helper or to simply agree with everything another employee said. I was hired as a mechanic, and I take pride in my work. Unfortunately, one employee, Manny, seemed to have an issue with me from the beginning. I felt like I was constantly being treated disrespectfully and expected to act like a yes-man instead of being allowed to do my job as a technician. If I disagreed with something or had a different opinion, it wasn't welcomed. What really disappointed me was management's response. Rather than hearing both sides and recognizing the work I was doing, my boss chose to take Manny's side and let me go. I actually have the text messages from my former boss confirming that Manny told him I wasn't right for what he was looking for and that he was letting me go. That's what makes this experience so frustrating. I wasn't fired because I didn't want to work. I was working. I wasn't fired because I didn't care about customers. I cared about them. I was fired because I wasn't willing to let another employee push me around or treat me like a dog. As far as my experience with Manny as a technician, I also witnessed things that concerned me. There were situations where sensors were unplugged and parts were being changed without what I considered proper diagnosis first. In my opinion, that's how customers end up paying for parts they may not have needed. A good mechanic should diagnose the problem, test the system, and then replace what's actually defective--not just throw parts at a problem. Manny also seemed unwilling to listen to another technician's opinion. Everything had to be done his way, and shortcuts seemed more important than proper diagnosis. I know the mechanic I am. I know how hard I worked. And I know the way I treated customers. Losing this job isn't what bothers me most. What bothers me is seeing a hardworking husband and father who was trying to provide for his family get thrown away because management would rather keep one employee happy than recognize another employee's hard work. I wish the owner and the shop the best, but my experience taught me that being a hardworking, respectful employee doesn't mean much if management has already chosen sides. Customers deserve proper diagnosis. Employees deserve respect. And neither should have to kiss anyone's ass to get it. 1/5 -- I would not recommend working here based on my experience, and I personally would think twice before trusting my vehicle to a shop where this is how things are handled.

Attendant- no it's your card. Me: No, there is nothing wrong with the card. It worked fine before. There is something wrong with this pump. Attendant: No, it's your card. It was declined. Me: Yes, it says declined but the issue is with this pump. Not with my card. Attendant: No, it's your card. It was declined. Me: I have a baby who I took out of the car for this. I don't have time for this! After this fruitless exchange, I left. Luckily with no money lost. I went to another gas station. Well wouldn't you know- my card that was NOT the issue I'll just say that! Poor customer service here, very unhelpful. Perhaps you should take the time to listen to your customers, try and rectify a situation when they tell you something is wrong instead of arguing or speaking down to them. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, making me feel like I had done something wrong simply by asking for assistance. No customer--or anyone asking for help--should be treated that way. I appreciate that my car was jumped, but basic courtesy costs nothing. If helping someone is such an inconvenience, it's better to politely decline than to make them feel unwelcome and disrespected.
