This place is just what I expected when I pulled in to fuel the Maverick. The vibe screams beach town, located right off A1A facing the ocean, the prices aren't competitive and the exterior is a little shoddy, some may call the exterior patina I'll call it what it is, rusty, the salty air is eating it away so I'll go with nostalgia because it fits the script. I knew immediately after the gasoline boiled out of my tank because the nozzle requires you to hold the lever the entire time that I'd be going inside to get a receipt and I was right the receipt dispenser likely hasn't worked in years - the attendant was extremely cordial and quickly handed me a receipt from pump #2 without me asking.
The interior is just as interesting as the outside, every piece of real estate was filled with some kind of oddity leaving only a tiny space on the counter to checkout. I like these kind of places even if they over charge for the same commodities I could purchase a few blocks away for much less sometimes it's about the experience..... read more
