Brenda was my therapist and did a great job. Very calming and asking which scents I would like and going over where my pain points were and level of pressure. The massage was very relaxing and wish it would have lasted longer. They are moving facilities and though the current building is not the most ideal the therapy room was nice and comfortable. He right away asked me a ton of questions about my injury to better understand where to spend his time and skill. I walked in with a mask, and she put one on without my asking her, and I thanked her for that. She started with soaking my feet for a few minutes and then thoroughly massaged them for about 30 minutes before asking me to turn over to get my back massaged. She was able to massage me with strength, and I'm sure I fell asleep several times (but I knew she was still working on me). I was visiting from out of state, so I wouldn't be able to return, but if I lived nearby, I'd be there every week! I received a 30 minute table massage today. I came in with lower back pain and did want a deep…read moretissue massage. However the massage I received was much too hard. Near the beginning of the massage the woman used to elbow to get at a "knot" in my mid back, it was very painful and I said it was too hard and said "stop" I even moved my hand back behind me for her to stop. She replied "no, it will feel better when I'm done". Well several hours later tonight I am in much much more pain than when I went in. I looked at my back and it is very bruised which I did not have before going in. If a client tells you to stop because you are hurting them you need to stop!
