I received a 30 minute table massage today. I came in with lower back pain and did want a deep tissue massage. However the massage I received was much too hard. Near the beginning of the massage the woman used to elbow to get at a "knot" in my mid back, it was very painful and I said it was too hard and said "stop" I even moved my hand back behind me for her to stop. She replied "no, it will feel better when I'm done". Well several hours later tonight I am in much much more pain than when I went in. I looked at my back and it is very bruised which I did not have before going in. If a client tells you to stop because you are hurting them you need to stop! read more

Jimmy at Zero Asian gives the best deep tissue massage! He finds all of the knots and works them out. Personally I like to have my massages cause me some discomfort because I know how much better I will feel after after the fact. We are visiting home from Austin for the holidays, and wasn't sure where to go for foot massages. It is new years eve, and almost everyone was closed today. I am so glad that this happened, because otherwise I never would have found Zero Asian Massage- we are so lucky that after calling several places with no answer, that Z.A.M. did! I wasn't sure what to expect because they did not have many reviews on Yelp. Oh my gosh, they are FANTASTIC! Best foot massage I have EVER had, and I get them all the time at home and when I travel, and I am also a former massage therapist so I can tell good from great.
