Was in Moab looking for a coffee shop that had non dairy milk options and this shop came up. The line seemed a little long but it actually moved quickly so that was nice when I was in line I noticed they had a little deli with premade items which included a Vegan Breakfast Burrito. That was exciting as a vegan I'm always looking for simple options on my travels. oh and the iced coffee I got was delicious. read more

We grabbed coffee here everyday during our trip in September. The service was amazing! We ordered many different coffees and smoothies (regular and vegan friendly) and enjoyed each one. Under cooked tortilla in burrito, soggy mushrooms, got our drink order wrong twice. And the guy making drinks was an asshole. When asked if they had silverware he barked, ask the cashier without looking up. When we asked about a burrito after 20 minutes, he said back away from the counter. Great iced coffee. I got a quad vanilla latte with whole milk(would have got 2% if I'd known they make it with whole). The cashier told me that they use 2 ounces of the vanilla sweetener. Moab Coffee Roasters sure have delicious coffee! Stopped by one of the morning for my espresso drink, after I searched Yelp for nearby places to my hotel. Immediately, after entering the little coffee shop, I noticed the giant coffee roaster in the corner of the shop. It made me very assured that my espresso will be delicious. Ordered my double espresso for myself and an Arnold Palmer Tea for my BF. Cashier was very friendly and quick! While waiting for our beverages, we were looking around the coffee shop. They displayed/sold a great selection of chocolates. They sure looked delicious! The coffee shop also had a big selection of gift items, including all kinds of T-shirts, coffee mugs, tea cups, reusable water bottles etc ... Due to Covid-19, social distancing was strictly enforced. The floor was clearly marked for waiting, distancing. Face mask also needed to enter the shop. Employees were also wearing masks. They had no tables/chairs inside, but they were outside seating available. We will be happy to return once again we'll be in this area. Highly recommend the lavender matcha latte. I've had similar flavor combinations in the past but the portions were always off - too much lavender, not enough, etc. this was perfect! I had the choice of substituting oat milk, which is always nice too. We didn't have any of the pastries but they looked tasty. Don't come here looking to feel welcomed as their website states. Unless you're white. I was there today. Bought a quad shot latte, found a seat to do some work on my laptop while I waited to pick up my dog from the vet in surgery. A couple hours later an employee walks up and proceeds to tell me that I need to leave because I've been there too long. Maybe I was being inconsiderate of limited space? It was on a Tuesday and the town is pretty small, there was plenty of space/accommodations - that can't be it. Then I thought, was I just a victim of racial discrimination? I spent all day rethinking it trying to talk myself out of it since I never really experienced discrimination before, maybe I was being too sensitive? But then I thought back. There were several college aged kids sitting near the window on their laptops who were there longer than me because they were already there when I first got there. All people who were not of color. They never got asked to leave. I'm extremely shocked that this racist behavior still exists in the world. Call me naive . If someone can give me directions to the colored people coffee shop in Moab, I'd greatly appreciate it? You will get all my business since I'm clearly not welcomed here. This consumer/business interaction was one of the worst I have ever experienced. Being asked to leave was one of the most humiliating and degrading experiences in my life. Manager claimed I berated him. Was simply asking questions regarding the allowance of my dog coming in and the policy of it. He just hung his head and didn't look me in eyes or even address my questions - just asked why my dog was his problem? This guy, named Aaron, was a chump. Typical of someone who is confronted with reasonable questions who cannot answer . I was advised to keep my dog outside in 109° heat. It is , inarguably more dangerous to have a dog in drastic heat, then bring them inside. This manager had his head up his ass enough to not even make eye contact w me while I was asking simple questions and he just spoke over me. He attempted to claim I was insulting or being rude to an employee when I was asking about policy. What a dick. Nobody berated or insulted anyone until now - because Aaron, you proved to be a DICK! You have to consider the totality of what's going on in Moab lately to fully appreciate why this pretentious place so underwhelms. On the other hand if you like the self-importance vibe ubiquitous in that certain kind of place Moab is fast becoming, if not in fact patterning itself after, you'll find a spiritual home here. Coffee afficionados are the mascots for woke cities and, obviously, remote touristy places that Moab is fast becoming. The change is sudden as things were not always so here, especially some 70 years ago. This was a rough and ready uranium propecting town back in the 1950s, a center for a kind of hardrock activity not conducive to make "so how does that make you feel" be the primary lens through which life is viewed. So today if you're an overeducated underemployed, or maybe even not so overeducated but you know all the words, twenties-something kid, seeing hundreds of tourists coming through the door deserves to meet them with disdain. After all, the kids saw the place first or at least heard it was cool. Moved here, bought bikes for at least $5 grand, and picked up a job at a place like this. That's why you folks who just came here for a few days to see the red sandstone formations would do better to get your cup at McDonalds. As for the coffee, it's odd that I even bought beans here. If anything, the place is good for a cup of unusual coffee even though it takes half an hour. But buying some to take home is an odd thing to do and I wonder what I had in mind doing so. Souvenir? So back home, this stuff is pretty bland and seems even to a have a slight raw bean taste to it. Could be the altitude affects roasting outcome? Low humidity? Who knows. The meat breakfast burrito was $10 but very filling and worth it. It was flavorful that came with salsa to give it a good kick. The cashier recommended coconut flavored iced coffee that was amazing.
