This is hands down my favorite coffee in Utah. I'll go out of my way to go get this. They remodeled and it looks so good in there! There's a lot more space and tables. A poppin' place in Moab that has a ton of coffee-based drinks and also some tea-based drinks. I came before heading over to Arches and it was busy. We wait for a bit and ordered a few drinks. An iced latte, a black coffee and a special mocha based drink. The server taking our order was a bit abrasive in her demeanor and wasn't very welcoming. Seemed like she was the same for a number of the other customers in line such as being annoyed when they didn't speak loud enough for her to hear their order. She was efficient but her attitude was something that rubbed our whole group the wrong way. Drinks themselves and were pretty good as the mocha drink was really tasty according to my friend. I had iced latte and it was amazing if they have location in Salt Lake City I would definitely go a lot to it. My friend had the gelato and it was gone faster than my latte . One of the few games in town for coffee, good location, but just okay. Few tips for the owners: 1. Provide healthier options to accompany ones latte. Oat and whole grain food, maybe an egg option, like quiche? Chocolate muffins, and brownies may be great for some, but not a healthy option in the morning. 2. Saw a woman clearly struggling on her own with two small kids and asked for a small extra cup for the gigantic smoothie (Not sure your employees know this but three year olds can't chug down 20-24 ounce smoothies), and they said they needed to charge an extra $1. Really? An extra dollar for a cup? Couldn't you guys cut her some slack? I doubt she'll be back. 3. Outside area great, albeit a bit dirty. Thats okay though, with employee shortages around. 4. Not a deal breaker, but misters outside would really extend your season in the summer. It's a 100 degrees outside, post Covid regulations, and no indoor seating. Instead, using space to sell T-Shirts? Seems like this business relies heavily on tourists, and not a lot of demand for repeat business. read more

Came here on a busy Friday afternoon with some family and friends. We were greeted with smiles from the warm staff and proceeded to wait in line to try some of the ice cream flavors - aaaand sea salt caramel it was. Also ordered a mango soda, OJ smoothie, mocha, and a latte. The cashier rang us up with a smile and the drinks were delivered within minutes. Definitely what we needed after a long morning of hiking and an afternoon of souvenir shopping in downtown Moab! Fine spot to stop for coffee, ice cream or a souvenir. We stopped in to sample the ice cream. It wasn't homemade, but it satisfied us on a hot summer day. The service was a bit slow and there was hardly anyone in there. Can't speak to the prepackaged sandwich's or coffee. The server was rude and uncaring telling he doesn't care if we get ice cream as he doesn't get paid a dime from it. Complete idiot since that is how you get paid. We came here because my some of the family wanted ice cream, others a smoothie or a drink. The guy at the counter wasn't friendly and kept asking us if we wanted ice cream when we hadn't decided yet. There is only 3 choices for smoothies and one was out- my husband got the blackberry he said wasn't great. I got an iced tea and same. My iced tea came after others ordered after me and asked if there was a smoothie which had never been put in the que. My son got ice cream which he said was good. read more

First time I came here a few months ago, service was great. (I was with my girlfriend at the time, who is White.) But today, I'm solo and wasn't even acknowledged. One female employee was outside and rushing back in as I arrived, but disappeared in the back behind the counter. The other female employee was on her phone behind the counter but directly in front of me. She didn't look up or say anything as I stood there and paced by the counter. Then, another couple comes in (White, if you're noticing a pattern), and now the counter clerk is paying attention. The couple even offered for me to go first, but since they were the ones noticed and already at the counter I let them go before me. I commented aloud, "Go ahead... She's not paying attention to me." Did she hear that remark? I don't know, but I hope so. The first female employee and a male employee come out and they don't say anything either. My husband and I stopped by here on the way out of town, and this definitely seems to be the place locals get their coffee. There were several tables where people were just hanging out or working, and two customers came in while we were there who clearly knew the employees. Everyone seemed to be friends, and it had a really nice vibe. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband ordered an iced Americano, and he said it was very bold and rich (and he likes his coffee DARK). They had it ready in about a minute. There were many drink options along with Boulder gelato. We also grabbed a bag of their Black Bear beans (they had maybe 8 different types available). It's very cool that a small town like Moab has their own coffee roaster! The beans smelled delicious, and my hubby loved the coffee he made at home with them (again, very dark). The prices of the drinks seemed comparable to other coffee shops, and maybe even a little less than Starbucks. The coffee beans were, I think, $14.00 a pound, so a little more than something you'd get at a grocery store, but completely worth it for a locally produced product. Whenever we visit Moab this will definitely be our first choice for coffee. read more

We ended up at Moab Coffee Tree Roasters after a long day of hiking in search of ice cream. The huckleberry flavor was my favorite, it wasn't overbearing and paired well with vanilla. It was fun to have a flavor I would never be able to get in the Midwest or East Coast. Staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Now, during COVID, they don't allow indoor seating but that is completely understandable especially because one can really see how popular they are.
