The beans are made from dried refried bean flakes and rehydrated. I believe the rice mixture is the same and it was pretty flavorless as well and had poor texture. Beans and rice are inexpensive and easy to cook from scratch, so I do not understand why any place would serve such inferior food quality. We had a very nice server. I doubt we will be back to purchase pre-made food in the restaurant part of the market, but may stop in to purchase some of the grocery items (dried peppers, dried beans, etc.).
