He gives such great feedback to the athletes. It doesn't matter if you're a basic or advanced stunter. They have people of all ranges that show up. Ryan is really great about making his way around to everyone. He makes an effort to learn everyone's name and get to know them. You feel right at home there. In most gyms stunt classes I have to do a lot of coaching with my girls. The people running the class like to stick around the more advanced stunters because that's more "fun" to work with. But Ryan is great and makes sure to work with everyone. It's great when you find a coach who actually knows what they're doing and clearly enjoys what they do! I have an infant and a husband who travels. I LOVE that I'm allowed to bring my son with me. Granted I keep him in the carrier the whole time, I worry about someone stepping on him. But I'm so appreciative of a gym that will allow me to work with my girls and have my son with me! Talk about family friendly! If you're in high school thinking about cheering in college, you're in college looking for somewhere to stunt or you're old like me and just like to see if you can still do a few skills I definitely recommend going here on Thursday nights at 8:15. Both of my children attend this school. We've been here for four years, and our experience has been nothing but positive. When I was touring schools, I visited eight in total, and this was the only one that truly felt like home. Even the moment you walk through the door, it has the warmth and comfort of a home environment. Their learning approach is Reggio Emilia, something I wasn't familiar with before, but it's centered on hands-on, exploratory learning. And yes, that means the kids get messy! They play in the mud, dance in the rain, paint with their hands, climb wooden stumps, and move their bodies freely. It's everything you want your child to experience, so I don't mind the extra laundry one bit. I've also received incredibly helpful parent handouts for big transitions like potty training, and I've always felt comfortable asking questions and getting thoughtful, educated responses about any behavioral concerns. They use an app that shares updates throughout the day, and I especially love the photos--both of my kiddos are always smiling, running, and playing. Their menu rotates seasonally, which has been great for my picky eater who now eagerly tries new foods (who knew he'd become such a soup lover!). They also host multiple on-site events for parents to join in on themed activities. I'm already excited for the upcoming holiday performance, especially after seeing little glimpses of the choreography they've been practicing. Even though Lake Dallas ISD recently opened their 3's and 4's preschool program, I'm very happy keeping my littles at Four Seasons. I know they're getting the attention, care, and education they need to thrive. Both of my kids are hitting their developmental milestones well ahead of schedule. Mrs. V chatted back and forth with me, answering my questions and encouraged me to bring the boys to give it a shot. When I brought my kids up to try a class, they were met with kindness, excitement and encouragement and their little nerves were gone fast. Since that day, we rarely miss a class. My boys are challenged, held accountable, encouraged, and loved on during every class. Once you look at the prices for an annual membership here (which I think is currently $35) it seems crazy that anyone would pay for a gym membership anywhere else! In the last three months I've taken a couple of different classes. I started with the crazy sounding cycleates, which was half pilates and half spin class. Turns out, I'm more into the pilates half of that equation so I've been taking pilates classes ever since. The instructor plays great music, the people are super friendly, and they provide everything you need as far as mats, weights, etc. I'm a bit of a germophobe, so I bring my own mat. The great thing is that classes are so reasonably priced! You can try out any class if you just want to stop in - I think prices for a single class range from $2 to $8, but you can find out detailed info about drop in prices on the Grapevine website. They have been super flexible with me about trying different levels and figuring out which class works best for me without charging me any extra. I'm a total cheapskate about paying for exercise classes and this is finally an option that is in my budget and doesn't make me feel like I'm being robbed blind. Is it a community center? Yes. Does it have the fancy amenities you would find at one of the chain gyms? No. So if you like working out in luxe surroundings, you probably won't be thrilled. But I'm not really too concerned with anything other than getting off my lazy ass and doing a workout that I enjoy, so this has been perfect for me!
