My daughter broke her arm here at a parents night out. Accidents happen, we understand that…read more However the response from Winkids was wholly inadequate. They did not call to notify us she was injured. Instead she sat in pain until normal pick up time for us to get her. At pick up they placed her in the car and buckled her so I could not see her arm, but they assured me it was just a bump, "it's not broken or anything." When I got her out of the car her arm was obviously misshapen and I knew right away it was broken. We emailed the director several times asking only that they provide better training to their staff. None of our emails were answered. I would not trust these people with children's safety.

I worked for this company for roughly two months (franchise Dfw Metro Amazing Athletes) , I was…read morepromised an Admin position that would be comprable to my previous salary, in "the future" - during the duration of these two months I put over 750 miles on my vehicle, spent $100 on tolls, worked roughly 28 hours and I was compensated $347 (this comes out to $12.30/ hour (I was promised $15 - $25/hour) - not including gas and mileage payments) for it all. Lastly , I was not compensated for the final events of work ( I was guaranteed in an email that I would be paid 5 days after I resigned) due to my resignation because of false promises made in my interview. Another situation that made me very uncomfortable is when I was asked to be dishonest with a Director about having a Covid-19 Vaccine. I do not have the vaccine and the school I was assigned to required all staff to have the vaccine, before we were allowed to be around children. I was told, by Thomas and Patrick to be dishonest by so that "we" Amazing Athletes , could "get paid". The end result was I did not receive compensation for times worked plus mileage and I received various unprofessional text messages and emails from both Thomas and Patrick because I did not want to work the last Friday due to the distance and fact that I had already been promised compensation and it was never paid to me. I will say I enjoyed the kids !! They kept me there for as long as I was - as a godparent I don't feel comfortable knowing that these two men are willing to lie , and go against a schools requirement , to make money. I would be upset if my child was at a facility where I thought everyone was vaccinated and I found out that an adult was dishonest and put my child's health at risk, for money. If I had my own school , these men would not be asked to return.

YOU MUST COME HERE!!! A++ school here!!!…read more My son has been coming to Emlers Swim since he was about 5 months old. He is about to be 2 in a month now. We have loved every teacher he has had and we LOVE Aubrey (Manager). He has grown to feel comfortable with multiple staff members and he truly enjoys class every time we come. I won't say that there are days where he wants more sleep, is having a teething day or regression, but out of the hundreds of classes we have come to, he maybe has had a handful only of "bad days". The teachers always accommodated to his attitude days and we managed each time! It's great to know that you're not alone in having a wild child or rough days. Moms and dads alike always welcome you and just joke about the terrible days. It's just an inviting place as a whole! Autumn, Emmaline, Eliana, and Caitlyn have all been just delightful. We have had Caitlyn through his first year and now we have her for his level 2/ first independent swimming class series and he LOVES her. She is honestly one of my favorite people ever. She makes swimming and learning fun for them, she explains what they need to work on, and allows your child to work for themselves as well so you know the classes are working! Aubrey has always been caring and hands on. She is always watching and is just the sweetest person ever!

It does however take longer than I think it should for them to become strong swimmers. But that's not my issue. The unprofessional manager named Melissa is. Over the years I have politely avoided her whenever possible. I even know of 2 different families that quit this place because of her ridiculous behavior. Just as my little one was finishing up the last of her lessons she had to exit the pool due to an accident by another child in the water. Gross but understandable. What is not understandable is what happened after. My daughter was having a private lesson that I had cashed in 4 of her already paid for makeup lessons. She got about 6 mins of the 1/2 hr lesson. I asked that they re-issue these makeups (since this wasn't our fault). I'm told that's not their policy. Then ok but I would then have to pay the new monthly fee for using my makeups since her enrollment was expiring and we were going to be traveling. You closed the pool during her lesson. Im not saying it's your fault, but it certainly isn't mine. I those were 4 paid for lessons. Swim isn't cheap. I have given this company thousandths of dollars over the years. Why would you make such a big deal out of this? The girls at the front desk and the asst manager all understood my point of view and were super nice as always. The manager however calls me and precede to talk down to me like I am an idiot. Please note this isn't the 1st time she's done this to me. I just took it with a grain of salt the first few times because I've heard her do this to multiple people while there. I'm explaining to her what happened because she had her facts all wrong and she begins yelling at me telling me that "I" have an attitude. What?? The audio was coming in through the car and my husband and I just looked at each other like what on earth? I couldn't get a word in edgewise from that point on and actually asked to speak to Pam (since she's sane and calmer) which only irritated her more. The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts with this woman. She needs therapy, not a job in charge of children. I will never come back nor recommend this place. Such a shame.
