Very secluded feeling, & safe Food: I got the smash burger with fries, she got the fish tacos, that came with chips and salsa. Both were delicious! The meat on the burger could've used extra salt though lol Prices: $10-25. The burger had 2 patties on it, & it was $16, so well worth the price. You do get quite a bit of food for your buck, from what I noticed looking at other plates Ambiance: we sat on the patio, overlooking the lake. It was very nice, & relaxing. The bar inside had tables available, but it was pretty lively in there lol a group was playing music in the corner, & it was getting crowded by the time we left. A good spot to grab a drink apparently. The clubhouse was very nice though. Very clean, & relatively fancy feeling. Service: we had a great waitress, & food came out within 15 minutes Will definitely be going back

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at 501, and it's definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere was perfect, and our server, Robert Campbell, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu very well. We started with the house salad and split the blackened chicken fettuccine with added shrimp -- absolutely delicious. And the dirty martini was made perfectly. We truly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend 501 to anyone living in the Heath or Rockwall area looking for a great dining experience.

I got to visit during their Harry Potter pop up with butter beer coffee options and delicious pastries. Upon entering their cafe/ gift shop, I noticed they had a Stranger Things Theme. There were a few families that were enjoying the large sitting area with couches, tables and table games. They really spent a long time crafting this theme and I really enjoyed all of the themed touches. I ordered a "Plain Jane" ice coffee which was delicious. You could see small pieces of graham cracker that added a good flavor. They had some baked goods available in addition to soda. They also offered a coffee flight which is something I would order if I was spending time with friends. There was one barista which did a great job keeping up with orders and communicating with customers. Next, I ventured out to check out their event space. They had an indoor event space with a shaded outdoor space right next to it with a bar area as well. After checking out the event space I looked at their flower, herbs and small cactuses outside the cafe. They had a small selection but good quality plants for a modest price. I also checked out their selection of pots and various plants outside the event space in additional to looking at their selection of trees and shrubs. Honey Locust would be a place I'd come to get coffee with friends as well as watch for any events they might have with the community. The theming they do in the coffee shop is fun and definitely worth coming to check out with your friends or family. All age levels would enjoy time here.

The decor is sharp and clean. Very little wear and tear. Staff is friendly. Rooms are all suites and are good looking. Beds are comfortable. The only thing that was a little off in our room is that when the A/C started up, it literally sounded like a jet engine whirling up. I slept okay with the noise, my daughter not so much. Pool is nice but not overly large and there are a couple separate sitting area's vicinity of the pool. One had a pergola over it and the other had a fire pit. There is also a event/conference center located within the hotel. Bar is fair sized and was busy in the evenings. Fitness Center has several treadmills and some free weights. Not a lot, but you can get a work out in. Hot breakfast is included. First day it was pretty good, second day, they ran out of food and brought out breakfast sandwiches that had been frozen, the issue was when they were reheated, the inside sausage patty was still partially frozen. You scan even make your own waffles, however, on the 2nd day, one of the waffle makers stopped working. Long lines and you couldn't get a waffle. Both were disappointing and a bit of a swing and miss. Parking is complimentary. Except for the breakfast issue and the jet engine for an air conditioning, it was a very nice stay.
