Incredible compassion and top-notch customer service!…read more STL Shuttle Service deserves every bit of praise. My son is a freshman at SEMO, and we had booked a shuttle to take him from campus to the St. Louis airport after an incredibly difficult week--he had to travel home for his father's funeral. Plans unexpectedly shifted when his university stepped in to handle his travel arrangements, requiring us to cancel the shuttle. When I called, the team at STL Shuttle Service was incredibly understanding and compassionate given our sudden family loss, handling our cancellation with so much grace and empathy. Their kindness during one of the hardest moments of our lives meant the world to us. They absolutely have a customer for life, and my son will be using them for all of his airport trips over the next four years. If you want a reliable service that truly cares about its customers, this is it!

However, Bryan was very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the entire process including booking. We booked a round trip and were able to get picked up/ dropped off at a nearby location from the airport (not listed on their drop down menu) which was honestly very helpful and saved us the stress in finding another form of transportation. We also had a very last minute request for a later pickup and Bryan was able to accommodate our request, very thankful for that. The shuttle was clean and comfortable and our drivers both trips were very kind, punctual, professional, and knowledgeable with the areas we traveled to/from. Would absolutely recommend booking with STL! Thank you again Bryan and team!

Airport Shuttle Service. I was very happy with this service. Lambert Airport St. Louis is way out…read morefrom downtown - about a $40 cab ride. TransExpress offers a $27 roundtrip shuttle service to and from the downtown area. You can pick it up right near baggage claim area. Some downtown hotels have an auto pickup returning to Lambert, and some you have to call the shuttle for your departure, but it is great, easy, and reliable. Of course you can also take the metro for much less, but if you have heavy luggage it is easier to take the shuttle in my opinion. But then, maybe I am just lazy or showing my age....I just don't like schlepping my bags around that much any more!

When my friend and I got off the plane at the St. Louis airport and got our baggage, we were…read moreprepared to get a taxi to our hotel downtown. Trans Express Shuttle was right there near the exit and invited us to take one of their shuttles. It's cheaper...I guess. I had personally had a terrible experience with a shuttle in Orlando so I was leary about this. They assured me that my hotel was the last stop before the airport so I wouldn't have to wait while the shuttle picked up everyone else first. So I decided to give this another try. It was $50 round-trip for my friend and I. $25. each. The shuttle ride to the hotel was great. No problems at all. The driver was very nice and even slowed down so I could take a picture of the St. Louis Arch. I didn't even have to ask him. He saw me bring my camera out and knew that is what I wanted to do. Very nice. It's the shuttle ride BACK to the airport that has got me so mad. The shuttle was supposed to pick us up at 8:15am according to their information. Our flight left at 10:15. This would give us plenty of time to get to the airport, get checked in, go through security, etc. Well by 8:25 it still wasn't there. I called and the woman told me it was on the way. By 8:35 it STILL wasn't there and one of the people waiting for the shuttle had a 9:40 flight. He was getting nervous. There were four of us standing out there in the cold waiting for the shuttle. By 8:45 I called to tell the woman that we were going to take a cab because we needed to get to the airport and I expected a refund when I got there. She instantly took an attitude with me to inform me there were no refunds and the driver was running behind and would be there soon. I said WHEN? She said, he's downtown. Well that's vague. I told her that we were all concerned about getting to the airport on time, etc. She was extremely rude to me so I got mad and started complaining and she HUNG UP ON ME! Absolutely, positively, unacceptable. Because it took us forever to get to the airport by cab, get checked in, go thru security and get to our gate I did not have time to go to the Trans Express desk to demand my money back. So I am expressing my anger with this company here on Yelp and I will be sending a letter to their company as well. Unfortunately, that does not give me my money back, but it's all I can do. I DO NOT recommend Trans Express. Take a cab. It was only $30.00 and it will give you piece of mind. Jennifer Johnsey Knoxville, TN
