    Dmb Builders - Porcelain beauty

    Dmb Builders

I can't recommend Dan and DMB Builders enough. In just 5 weeks, they completed a full remodel of my…read morekitchen and two bathrooms, including converting one tub into a walk-in shower. There were four dedicated crew members on site every single day, all of whom were friendly, professional, and reliable, consistently chipping away at a large scope of work. Dan, the owner and project manager, was on site most days to check progress, quality-check the work, and coordinate next steps. Communication was excellent, the workmanship was top-notch, and the results exceeded my expectations. I'm already planning future projects with Dan and DMB Builders, including a complete master bathroom remodel and upgrading the remaining indoor doors to a modern shaker style.

I had them refresh two small-ish bathrooms--replacing the vanity, faucet, mirror and light fixture in the hall bath, and retiling a shower in the primary bath, adding a dramatic-looking niche. Dan is realistic, schedule-conscious and works to exceed expectations. (They finished ahead of schedule!) He's also willing to share his opinions, but in the end, he made sure they executed what I wanted versus what they'd normally do. The team was very skilled, polite and considerate. The only downside was that his online billing system was a bit weird, but it can be over-ridden to pay the correct progress payments. I will likely be working with them again when I find my next house.

Coast To Coast Restoration - Remodel completed 2023

    Coast To Coast Restoration

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

From start to finish, the project moved quickly and stayed on schedule, which we really appreciated. The team was on-site every day, clearly committed to getting the work done right and efficiently. Everyone was respectful, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. They paid close attention to detail and made a real effort to keep the work areas as tidy and organized as possible each day--something that made living through a remodel much easier. We're very happy with the results and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, hardworking team.

From the very start, Alejandro and his team impressed me with their professionalism and efficiency. They began work right away and not only finished on time, but did so quickly. What really stood out, though, was their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Alejandro was extremely responsive and receptive throughout the process, always taking the time to listen to my ideas and incorporate them seamlessly. He went the extra mile to accommodate changes and make sure every little detail was taken care of--from the fixtures to the final clean-up. The quality of the work speaks for itself, but it was their thoughtful approach and excellent communication that really made this project stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend Ambar Builders if you're looking for a contractor who delivers on time, is reliable, on a reasonable budget, and does great quality work.

Youngren Construction - Stunning kitchen in a new custom home build by Youngren Construction in Fallbrook, CA

We had looked at other home remodeling and construction companies and decided to use Youngren…read moreConstruction for remodeling and upgrading our 26 year old house. We were very pleased with Youngren and would recommend them for remodeling/construction projects, especially for those living in the local area of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, Oceanside and Temecula. We found that having a local point of contact was extremely helpful, especially for a large time consuming project like ours. We conducted our remodeling effort in two phases with the first focusing on the kitchen, family room and living room and the second on the hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms were completely remodeled/redesigned with plumbing changes and wall modifications. The flooring in the entire house was replaced with porcelain tile. New baseboards, window casings, closet doors, and windows were added. The Youngren team worked with us from beginning to end (design, permitting process, material selection, demolition, construction, final inspection) and proved to be very flexible when we requested changes as the worked progressed. One of the most positive aspects of Youngren is that they utilize very professional and reliable subcontractors who worked with us (and the Youngren Supervisor) to fine tune and adjust what we wanted. They included electricians, plumbers, countertop fabricators, drywall/finishers, painters, glaziers/shower glass installers, stucco contractors, cabinet makers and tile installers/setters. All were great. Always shop around, but definitely give Youngren Construction serious consideration for your remodeling project.

After over a week of no communication, I finally received a voicemail saying they wouldn't be doing the job and would just refer me out. This was after coming into my home, walking through every room, and closely interacting with me and my entire family. I was clear about the scope of work from the beginning, and they agreed to it--only to back out after wasting my time and putting my household at risk. Even if they didn't know, every close interaction with another person is a potential threat to my life due to an extremely serious primary immunodeficiency. This is exactly why it's so important to be kind, respectful, and considerate with other people's time. You never know what someone is going through. I would absolutely NOT recommend! Pick literally anyone else. Worst company I've dealt with yet - just so disrespectful to lie and waste my time.
