Usually if you go to a thrift store, the toy area is trashed from the kids playing with the toys. But they had the toys higher up on shelves and bagged with the pieces that go with the toys. So they actually had a better selection of toys because all the pieces are most pieces were intact. I ended up buying some toys there for my grandson and also some books. Their prices were good compared to other thrift stores. I did not look at the clothing prices which tend to be ridiculous at most thrift stores. We did not have to wait long at all to check out and the woman was friendly. I have been to the other Blessings Abound thrift store in Overland Park, but not this one. I would recommend it to anyone living in this area.

They consistently have good and fun items. I've left with a huge cart full several times. My only issue is that it can get packed in there at times. There's often not enough carts nor enough dressing rooms when it's really busy. It's still not bad but I wish they'd work on getting some more carts donated and maybe find some space for a few more dressing rooms. They are raising money for charity and the people who are working there I believe are mostly volunteers so I don't want to complain too much. I'm sure if I'm overwhelmed by how busy it is, the volunteers and employees must be. I like to drop off things here and there to donate to them as well. That's an easy process here. I'm going to try to snap some photos on my next visit but considering it's a thrift store, it stays pretty clean and fairly well organized even on busy Saturdays and sale days.

They are friendly and serve a good cause by the selling of their merchandise. But I think the location is too large for the amount of merchandise that they have now. It seemed more empty when we walked inside. They're well organized, but the merchandise seemed more outdated whereas some thrift stores have a little bit better quality. Some prices were fine, but then some of the clothing I felt like was overpriced. We ended up buying a little bag of toys that were four dollars, which were reasonable for what was in it and my husband bought two books. I think if they get more merchandise to fill out the space then it won't look so sparse. I feel like they should've stayed in the other space they had.

Disappointed we looked for a similar format and found this City Thrift Outlet/Bins store and had a blast with the by the pound clothing/fabric format. We spent about $65 and got a Sleep Number throw that weighed over 5lbs but retails for around 60-99 roughly that my daughter loves and we got some fun clothes for fall at great prices. Just washed and we're excited to wear/use our items! Books at $1 is great too. Grace at the checkout was great. Personable and friendly, she complimented some of our selections, offered a rewards/points sign up, and was just all around good people. I will definitely go back when back in the area again, especially if I have my 9 & 13 year old with me. I only took one star off as clothing was rather unsurprisingly dirty in some cases, with holes and stains. With this format I expected some of it. I really do appreciate that it was organized by fabrics, shoes, bags/hats, housewares, glass, and home goods.
