Great Goodwill. Clean and organized space with kind staff. Super easy drop off/donation system right next door.

Only a few weeks later I was looking for a specific item for a costume and realized that Wonderland was quirky and fun enough to have just what I needed. I browsed a bit, and then described the look and feel of what I was looking for, and the owner took me right to the perfect item to finish off my costume. I've returned several times after realizing that no matter how big the big box retailer was, they just don't have the same amount of interesting things. The employees are helpful, friendly and know exactly what I'm looking for. I was also surprised to learn that they do rentals, too. Keep that in mind!

They have tons of vintage clothing, and they also have an excellent selection of vintage records. They have a smaller selection of vintage shoes and hats and purses. They have a variety of knickknacks that are vintage or unique. The Service was friendly and helpful and they had sales going on at the time. The only reason I give it a four star is that I think their clothing was overpriced even with having 20% off.

Get in, loser, we're going shopping…read more.. ...at that smashing little boutique on the west side in that bougie area just brimming with great eats and even better shops. Fetch is full of fun finds, KC merch, locally sourced product displays, and so much more. The back room is loaded up with some excellent thrift finds, even though the price point is reflective of the unique pieces moreso than just turning over resold 'stuff'. Throw in some cool home accents (I was so close to nabbing the martini olive throw rug) and some other kitschy gems and you have a great spot. Parking is west side street stuff, so you're on your own. The staff is super friendly and always making suggestions, and their playlists are phenomenal. Pricing is on par with the area and like shops, but give yourself a little treat now and then. But give that south wall a gaze, because their sandwich sign social voice is seriously top shelf. I don't care what side of the fence you land on, Fetch focuses their messages on kindness & humanity. Give me more, soooooo much more. And Gretchen was spot on, because it's so Fetch.

Then I found a heavy stainless steel over the door kitchen towel holder for only $2.50. Looks brand new. After a couple more odds n ends, which included a cool name brand top, the cashier said "that'll be 27 cents!" Whaaat!? I forgot I had $10 credit earned from the 3 times before. I was smiling the rest of that day!! Go check it out.

You can get lucky and find some really great furniture too. I love that they have started giving donors a $5 off coupon when bringing in donations. I also love that they will come to your house to pick up any furniture that you want to donate but can't bring in yourself. They also have sales daily and post a calendar so you know what is on sale when. Clothes sales days can get very hectic! That being said I don't like donating too much here, as I feel they price items awfully high for people on limited incomes. It seems like they cater more to people with money who are just looking for a good deal. I prefer to take clothes to places that give it away to low income people. I know they take the money they make and help a lot of people in the community, so that's great, but I just wish some of the prices in store were a little more affordable. I frequently see housewares priced higher or the same as new items at retail stores.
