There are some gems if you know how to look and hit on sale days, but don't expect awesome hauls here if you aren't ready to drop a couple hundred dollars. They've recently changed their dollar rack to be two dollars instead. Special shoutout to the "Vintage Shop." Anything that looks old, worn, and useless gets chucked over in that corner for a special 100-500% markup of the price that item would normally be. Half of the stuff in that section isn't even vintage. If every price in the store was cut in half, it might be worth it. I'm a huge thrifter and this is our least frequent thrifting stop, if that tells you anything.

This man should not be in any type of management position. Calling him unhelpful is honestly being generous. When I first arrived to sign in so they could log my hours, my file was missing. I told the woman who was supervising at the time, and she couldn't find it either, so she just scribbled her initials. I only worked two hours that day, but when I went back to get credit for them, David told me I'd have to talk to the person who signed me out. I described her to him, and he claimed he "couldn't recall" who I was talking about and said I'd need to track her down myself. I don't have a vehicle, so I can't just drive up there every day hoping to find her. I called again later and unfortunately got David a second time. I explained again that I needed my hours credited--hours I actually worked--and he still refused to help. Throughout my time volunteering there, none of the managers acted like leaders. They barely acknowledged me. They'd just tell me to straighten clothes or fix hangers. Since I've worked retail before, I asked for a rag to wipe down the shelves because they were filthy, and they didn't even seem to know where anything was. While I was there, I overheard multiple customers complaining--one about being charged for items they didn't buy, another about the prices being way too high for a thrift store. I agreed with them and made it clear I was just a volunteer. When I looked around myself, I was shocked at how overpriced everything was, especially considering the store gets all its merchandise donated for free and relies heavily on unpaid volunteers. If you're looking for a place to complete community service hours, I strongly recommend going somewhere else. And honestly, if you're just looking to shop at a thrift store, you might want to choose a different one too. I'm clearly not the only person who's had a bad experience here.

They have deals each week on different colored tags, so you can get 25%, 50%, or 75% off certain items. They also had a nice furniture section. Prices that are supposed to be $1 to$2dollars a pound, the main awesome thing that everyone loved and could actually afford was when an item like forsay a blender that weighed 5 lbs or more would be considered a 5 dollar item and it would be 5 dollars, period. Did not matter if the blender weighed 15 lbs, it was a 5 dollar item. Now all the sudden , depending on which worker you get, it can cost 15 dollars, maybe 13 or whatever they say that day. This completely ruins shopping at Goodwill Outlet. I know I'm speaking for numerous people. My days of coming are done. Especially when people have been coming for years because those who have a low income, were able to come and get many things for the whole family. What used to cost a cart say 30 dollars is now 80... Unbelievable. The workers will say different prices to every single customer, they will tell some hey let me know how much you got, and I can do this much, but wait till the one manager isn't up front. This is clearly wrong, dishonest to us and your company, they absolutely do not do rotations every 30-60 min. Your lucky to see 3 throughout the whole day. I really think the corporate headquarters needs to investigate every worker, manager at this location and you will see that your workers are dishonest, untrustworthy, and making people who been coming here for so long, just say I'm not coming back, and in disbelief on how they were charged as there walking out the door. You can get lucky and find some really great furniture too. I love that they have started giving donors a $5 off coupon when bringing in donations. I also love that they will come to your house to pick up any furniture that you want to donate but can't bring in yourself. They also have sales daily and post a calendar so you know what is on sale when. Clothes sales days can get very hectic! That being said I don't like donating too much here, as I feel they price items awfully high for people on limited incomes. It seems like they cater more to people with money who are just looking for a good deal. I prefer to take clothes to places that give it away to low income people. I know they take the money they make and help a lot of people in the community, so that's great, but I just wish some of the prices in store were a little more affordable. I frequently see housewares priced higher or the same as new items at retail stores.

This is the second time I've been to this particular location. They have mostly clothing, a small…read moreselection of books and housewares. The clothing is organized well and the prices are generally reasonable. The housewares and book selection is limited as well as limited toys. The service is friendly, but I do believe they follow around the customers too much. I think they have volunteers since it's part of Catholic charities, but they seem to always be putting away clothing in the area that people are shopping and watching the customers which is uncomfortable.

They mentally wore me down (something they're probably very proud of). The older white woman kept me locked out of the store making me stand in 23 degree weather for 20 minutes because she thought it was too early for me to be there to begin work. The older black woman would reprimand me on the sales floor in front of customers. She kept getting on to me because I'd say "Hello" the truck drivers! OMG! They were not only rude but very hateful to customers also. After a tongue-lashing the older white woman gave to a customer...I wanted to go hug the customer. Don't expect kindness from these 2. They simply don't have it in them. I loved my job there, just couldn't stand the 2 hateful ones.
