While there are definitely some treasures and deals to be found, it's ultimately a downgrade in quality from the previous location, at least at the current time. I also want to note that despite loudly advertising that "all clothing is $2.98," they have a section at the front of higher priced clothing items. I admit I think this is a rather duplicitous business practice. It also seems random what clothes are put up there. Some of it was the same fast fashion that infests the rest of the clothing racks, while some finer materials and true vintage was languishing on the $2.98 racks. It just didn't make sense to me! It's worth a stop if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for Frugal's.

It's a very large store, with clothing, kitchen supplies, books, LP's, some appliances and assorted other items. One of the things I love best about this Salvation Army location is their selection of large clothes for men. It is a very large selection, (pun intended??) of clothes, ranging from t-shirts, shorts, dress pants and dress shirts. That, to me, is a very cool thing! The prices are very reasonable (i.e. inexpensive) and you'll often find sales on top of those prices. You can always find "the staples" (clothing, books, kitchen stuff, etc.) and every now and then you'll find something really, really cool, especially if you visit during a holiday. One caution though. If you see you and you like it, get it! Don't think you can come back for it because chances are, it'll be gone. While you can't return any items you purchase, you do have the opportunity to try on clothes and plug in appliances, just to make sure everything is Kool and the Gang before you buy it. So yes there are some damaged packaging and returned items. You need to check things but if you don't mind doing that there are bargains to be had. They do have a 30 day return policy with your receipt, so keep your receipt. Each day is a different sale too. A different department will be on sale. You can call and see what will be on sale or check their website to see what is on sale that day. The website isn't always updated though. You can find some nice things, even furniture at great prices, you just have to look over things. I recommend checking it out and looking for those bargains. Have fun shopping.

I also love that they will come to your house to pick up any furniture that you want to donate but can't bring in yourself. That being said I don't like donating too much here, as I feel they price items awfully high for people on limited incomes. It seems like they cater more to people with money who are just looking for a good deal. I prefer to take clothes to places that give it away to low income people. I know they take the money they make and help a lot of people in the community, so that's great, but I just wish some of the prices in store were a little more affordable. There are lots of great things to be found here but they're entirely dependent upon luck. You might come for days and find nothing good, then find something amazing in the first 10 minutes another time. Be prepared for dubious substances, slime, broken glass, and lots of garbage. Wear gloves if you think you need them. Be prepared for people to shove you out of the way to get something they want or, alternatively, stand 3 inches away and give you the stink eye while you dig through a bin they want to look in. As other reviewers have said, the people working there often just make up prices. This can sometimes work out in your favor but often leads to overpaying, especially if they make you weigh the cart. Whatever weight they have put in for the carts is not accurate at all and will lead to you paying extra 99 times out of 100. Seriously, this place is not for the faint of heart. Or nose. If you're a hardcore thrifter looking for your next treasure, it's absolutely worth the visit. Just make sure you bring some hand sanitizer!
