It wasn't going to be a big job, only about 56' of ornamental fencing and Penn Fencing scheduled our Estimator, Charlie to visit a few days after calling them in early March. We received the Estimate a few days later and the pricing was comparable to the other quotes we gathered. Penn Fencing came recommended to us by 3WS's Johnny Hartwell and we went with his advice and selected them for the work. It has only taken five (5) weeks for the materials to arrive and the install to be scheduled. Kevin and his two (2) man crew arrived promptly at 8:30am, to do the work and they were finished in about 90 minutes. No mess, no inconvenience, and they disposed of our old fencing for us. The fence looks great! I did have to go back and tighten a few screws, but it wasn't a big deal. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them for your project.

I called Cousins and I was a little disappointed I had to wait about 4 weeks for someone to come out and take a look, BUT when the day finally came, Mark got right to work inspecting the area and recommended securing a few other pieces of siding that looked like they were loose as well. I was shocked when I asked how long I'd have to wait for someone to come back out and fix it, and he said he would do it right then! The price was reasonable, so I signed the contract, and in an hour, he had cleared out some dead vines that had grown under the siding, secured the loose pieces, and reattached the piece that fell off. Extremely happy with his work!

We built a…read morecustom ranch home with almost all our building materials supplied by 84 Lumber, Vanport Store. Landscaping was being performed about 1 year after the completion of our home and we found the downspout deteriorated as if termites had eaten through the aluminum. One problem, termites do not eat aluminum. I returned the downspout to the Vanport Store and the sales rep, Jim, simply shrugged his shoulders and offered to sell me another one. There was no interest in pursuing the supplier for faulty material, nothing. I did purchase another because of the color match and the downspout was on the front of the house. I do not recommend purchasing anything from 84 Lumber as they will not stand behind their products.
