He ended up finally emptying the tank when he came back the next day and then never snaked the drain because he said he could hear water coming in, still charged $500 plus tax. Three weeks later we had a backup again.... we had the filter cleaned out, $100 and didn't fix it, so we called Roy's, they came out and put a camera down the pipe, it was clogged. Roy's ended up having to snake it costing us an additional $500 plus tax. We ended up having to pay almost $700 additional and had more damage to our finished basement because they could not do the job they told us from the beginning they were going to do.

The wrong sand was delivered, ruining our lawn and turning it into a pond. He left tools scattered about. He never filled in the old septic which later caved in. We have 4 children and many animals, luckily no one was injured. We gave Josh several calls to come fix. Our backyard looked like a war zone. And pipes sticking put, no clean up, he didn't salvage any topsoil so we had to order dirt, dig up area where the wrong sand created a pond, fill in old septic, remove mounds of shale and rocks, regrade our back lawn. Josh was asked to make it right. He took 700 dollars of which didn't even cover the cost of dirt. After notifying the County, we decided to fill in the tank, grade our lawn, dig up bad sand, fix protruding pipes and reseed our lawn. Thankfully we have friends that were able to help. I pity the people who he does work for that don't have friends with heavy equipment. The County has been notified and will be watching when he comes for future permits. I regret leaving this review, my husband gave Josh every opportunity to do the right thing. I hope Josh grows and learns from these mistakes and no one gets hurt.

I can't say enough about New Era Heating and Cooling! This past Friday, I came home from work to…read morefind the thermostat reading 61 degrees and the weather prediction calling for record freezing temperatures all weekend. My husband reached out to New Era and reported the problem - it was after 5:00 pm and the woman he spoke to took his number and said she'd get back to him. We had little faith that we'd hear anything back, but were surprised to receive a call back within the half hour with the news that John would be over within the next 20 minutes. John was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. Our furnace was beyond repair (It was 20+ years old), but he somehow got it to partially operate to get us through the weekend. He also assisted in getting our fireplace going so that we would have adequate heat. We made arrangements to purchase a new furnace (at a price that was considerably lower than what we had been quoted by T-Mark a few months earlier) and promised that he would be back first thing Monday morning. He wouldn't accept payment for the service call that night. On Sunday evening we received a phone call from Bev who was calling to check on us, and to confirm that John would be over at 9:00 am on Monday. We had about a foot of snow that fell overnight and my husband and boys were out shoveling at about 8:00 am when John arrived. Rather than leave and come back an hour later, or sit in his warm truck, he asked if they had an extra shovel and helped them clear the driveway! John got quickly to work removing our old furnace and installing the new one - he also replaced the humidifier filter and made sure that everything was operating correctly. While i pray that we won't have another heating issue anytime soon, I intend to contact New Era again in the spring to replace our AC unit. I would also wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else with an HVAC need!
