I came in this past Friday 9/26 for a gel pedicure and gel x manicure. The pedicure was amazing with Ann, this review is specifically for Elvin who did my gel x (I believe that's his name). From the moment I sat in the chair, he did not make me feel welcomed or greet me warmly at all. He had very cold energy. The service felt incredibly rushed because he had another appointment shortly after mine. I can tell he was rushing through my nails since the next client was already sitting next to me waiting her turn, and as a result, the paint job and shape of the nails looks horrid. The tips are crooked & my pinky nail looks black. I had him fix a couple of my nails cause the lines were so crooked. I asked for all French tips to be tortoise design, and the design just looks way too dark all around. Not only did the service take a very long time, but he also didn't care to really check in and see if I actually liked my nails. I can just tell that he was feeling the pressure since the next client was already there waiting. His lack of time management between clients is why my nails turned out horriby. And at the end he still had the nerve to say "I'm only going to charge you $100 for these"... these are not worth $100. read more

AMAZING SERVICE! Very attentive and understanding. Miley was very kind, and made me feel very comfortable with my nail polish change. I previously went to Nail Forum II less than a mile away from this location, and the experience I had with MJ Nails was NIGHT AND DAY. These ladies did not rush, they made sure I was happy (with price, and design) and VERY, VERY accommodating as I stated before. My previous set had rhinestones falling off after only 3 days! and I paid about $130 for them at Nail Forum. To say that the ladies at MJ are attentive is an understatement! They triple sealed my bows and rhinestones, and to me that tells me everything I need to know as a consumer. I cannot recommend this spot enough! These ladies will take great care of you. My wedding is in July I went in to have my nails shortened and filed. The same service I had last time excluding getting painted. I have natural long nails I grow out. The tech DID NOT ASK how short I wanted them or what shape. My nails were about a centimeter long if not longer and she clipped them all off. Down to the bed and filed them into squares. My wedding is less than a month away I cannot grow a centimeter of nail within that time frame. I am beyond pissed and upset. Never coming to this establishment again. read more

Great pedicure but did a crappy job on nail polish chipped within 24 hours for a $65 pedicure not including tip, went back to have polish fixed to be told they won't just fix it because they don't guarantee the polish. I understand the hype about this place! Although there is a bit of a wait if you have no appointment it's worth the wait. I came in for a regular pedi and there was nothing regular about it! My tech took her time and did not rush like other places. I love how they soak your feet in lavender salts and scrub right after. So much better than just sitting in just water. When it came time to scrub my feet she asked about the callous treatment and I declined. Then she did one swipe per foot, no scrub at all. My polish looks good but my feet don't. I don't have callouses (and if I do I pay for the service). Level 1 service. And bloody nails from filing below the nail bed. I had to tell her to stop. Awful. Katie herself was a 5/5! I was very happy with her work. The service, however, was a 3/5 because it took me nearly an hour to get serviced due to Katie still working on another client. My appointment was at 10:30 and I got sat at 11:30. Luckily my sister was there so I was able to sit with her. These were my wedding nails so I was really particular about how I wanted the design. Katie was knowledgeable and told me what type of manicure (gel-x or acrylics) would look and feel best. Additionally, my sister got hers done by Han and they turned out amazing! I was looking for a new nail salon in Henderson as my prior regular spot was no longer feasible. Two friends of mine recommended MJ Nails and Lashes and I've very happy they did. Pros: Making an appointment is easy. Their website is super detailed and lets you not only book the services you want but the technician you want as well. Check in once your there is easy too. I've been to this location twice now and both times I had services done by Brian. He is fantastic and is very patient when trying to get my names to match the design I requested. Also, the salon is beautiful and all the staff I've interacted with face to face are very polite. Cons: No when answers the phone if you call to confirm your appointment or if you're running late to an appointment. I called three separate times in 1 day to let them know I was going to be late to my upcoming appointment [work meeting ran long] and each time no one answered. I did see a sign in their window though that they are hiring for a receptionist so I understood that, but when I arrived there was two separate girls behind the desk assisting customers so not sure why none of my calls were addressed. I was simply trying to be courteous their time and my technicians schedule. The only other con I have is the cost of services. They're on the pricey side, even before tipping. read more
