I ordered my usual Lunch Combo Shrimp Tempura which comes with Miso Soup [very good], Salad [lettuce and shaved carrots with excellent dressing], Vegetable Spring Roll, Shrimp Shumai [a little soggy today], and Vegetable Roll [crunchy]. The shrimp was excellent in the tempura and the vegetables [eggplant, yam and broccoli]. I don't think broccoli does well in tempura as it is too moist a vegetable. All in all, however, this is a filling and relatively inexpensive meal. Service was pleasant and well executed. It was a terribly hot day outside and the AC was not as cool as we had hoped. This is such a friendly spot in town! It's hard to find a good gluten-free sushi option, so I was really excited to try this place. I ordered the cucumber roll, Naruto roll, and rainbow roll. Everything tasted great and the rolls were really well made. When I went to eat the Naruto roll, I noticed it had imitation crab. The description didn't mention crab, and since many imitation crab products contain wheat as a binder, I got nervous about eating it. Instead of asking about the crab right away, I ended up being too nervous to try it. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding and happily made me a new roll. While the food was edible, this was not the hibachi dinner I had been looking forward to. My husband and I usually go to another hibachi restaurant that is farther away. We've been looking for something a bit closer in location. I saw the reviews on this restaurant and we thought we would give it a try. First and foremost, this restaurant seems to be geared toward sushi, as there are no hibachi tables. My filet mignon was tender, however it didn't taste like it came off a hibachi grill. I am also used to a mustard sauce and was given Yum Yum sauce instead. The Yum Yum sauce was sweet and far from my liking. My husband's chicken teriyaki was a bit dry and generally could've tasted better. The steamed shrimp shumai and my mushroom soup were both bland. The service was decent, but it didn't make up for the disappointing food. The decor was clean but nothing to write home about. We will likely not return. read more

We were delighted in the vibrant colors and the presentation of each plate (as well as the other customers plates that went by). Every bite we couldn't help but to say "oh my god, this is so good!" I had the Thai noodles for my main course and finished with the fried ice cream (which did not disappoint ). This is our regular sushi place and it is always very good. We usually order some martinis, which are strong and taste amazing. For appetizers, our favorite is the duck roll which is duck wrapped inside a scallion pancake- so good! We used to love their calamari but it is not as good these days as it looks like frozen calamari rings that they buy instead of what it used to be. For sushi, we always get sashimi, some rolls like California, eel & cucumber, spicy tuna, etc. sometimes we also get a special roll and the mama roll is really good. Fish is always fresh. After multiple visits I need to update my review. After being open for a few weeks they have the service and food down to a science. There is definitely an improvement. The food is so delicious that I keep coming back for more. As always I keep doing my happy dance while eating my food. First and foremost I want to recognize the amazing staff at Mizzu! I came tonight for dinner and had an excellent hibachi experience. Our chef was outstanding and the customer service at this restaurant overall was exceptional. The food was delicious with generous portions as always, and our chef was the most entertaining host we have ever had! He is very skilled with the hibachi technique and his personality kept us smiling and laughing all night. You can immediately tell from the laughters, applause, and the yelling of "Sake" that everyone is having a great time. I have been here 3 times and each time all the hibachi tables have been full. This restaurant is new in town and I can tell that word is spreading quickly about how excellent the service and food is. I would strongly recommend to make dinner reservations. What a great find this was, thank you Yelp for the suggestion! We went on a Friday night before heading to the movies and we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was easy to find and is located in a plaza. We made reservations through yelp like 30 minutes before arriving. The hostess that greeted us wasn't very friendly and gave us the worst table possible. We brushed it off as both my sister and I have done that job and we know how it can be sometimes and figured she was following some sort of rotation and that section was next. Although, I can't remember our server name he was attentive and was always available when needed. They had drinks specials I had the "champagne dream" it was delicious tasted like a bubbly spiked punch. Food was delicious. The special roll we tried was the sea roll and it was really good. We also ordered some of our favorite rolls like the salmon and avocado and tuna rolls. The salmo and avocado was beyond delicious I don't know if is the type of rice they use but it was the perfect bite and the salmon was fresh. Overall it was a very nice experience. Not sure what happened to the quality of food here but it went downhill for me. I have been twice in the past and it was great but things have changed. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because my lychee martini was still on point. Delicious. Ordered the shrimp dim sum and it tasted old. Not fresh shrimp in there. I swear it almost tasted like bleach. Terrible. Wonton soup was ok but had this weird black seaweed in it that didn't look visually appetizing and it was in this weird shaped bowl that isn't great for soup. Ok tasting soup. The Blue sky roll. Visually when it came out I was like wow! Beautiful presentation. However, that wine glass full of stuff I was like am I supposed to eat anything in there? I tried to take it off the plate and the glass was stuck to the plate. Ok how are you cleaning that? Also, the roll was so big I had to cut in half. Sushi is supposed to be one bite or at least for me. I don't want to have to cut mine in half. Too much spicy tuna in there and the tempura was so thick around the shrimp it ruined the roll. Way too much fried tempura batter. My boyfriend got the basil chicken with fried rice on the side. The broccoli was tough. He didn't have a knife so he cut the ends off with his fork (he should have asked for a knife). Also, the rice was not fried at all. Waitress came over and clearly I didn't like my roll because I left most of it and she said "oh you didn't like it?" I said "No it wasn't good" and she left it on the bill. Oh and then the dishwasher was walking back and forth in the dining room slamming dishes around and talking to himself or someone on the phone. Very strange. Won't be back. Sorry Mizzu. read more

I had been meaning to try this place for a long time. Because of the pandemic, I haven't been out to get sushi in way too long, so it was time and Mizzu was the logical choice. I ordered the three roll special with salmon avocado, eel cucumber and yellowtail jalapeño with mushroom soup. The salmon roll was delicious and the salmon was plentiful and tender, the yellowtail was great and there was the right amount of jalapeño to add just a little spice and crunch without burning my face off. I also love that there are the online options to add things like mango (with a small added charge) to any roll and this was the perfect compliment for the yellowtail and jalapeño. The eel was very disappointing unfortunately. Eel sushi is my favorite so I might have high expectations, but the amount of eel was very stingy. I requested no eel sauce because of my gluten intolerance so my needs were met in that way. My husband enjoyed his sushi sampler B, although he did not get the miso soup that was supposed to be included in the order. He said that the nigiri sushi was high quality and he liked that there were 5 different kinds of fish. Since he doesn't like shellfish, he was thrilled that "no shellfish" was one of the options for the smaller. Overall the food was good, we got a generous amount of seaweed salad for $5 and were also plenty of wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. Next time I probably won't order the eel, but the other 2 I will definitely repeat. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time and it was a quick, safe pickup. No hibachi, no kbbq, no wok or flat-top. A straight up dirty charcoal grill. Then there was the hair. The bell peppers and green beans were enough of a surprise, but hair? C'mon guys... do better. The curry ("curry") was essentially spicy tomato sauce... The sushi was actually decent. The eel was tasty, not fatty/chewy, and the spicy crab was EXCELLENT. Food is always well made. The people who work there are nice as well. I always get the Dragon Rolls and they are delicious. The seaweed salad is good too, they give you a lot. The parking is excellent because it's in a big plaza and right off the highway so you can pop in here after leaving work and before heading back to the highway. read more
