Was so excited to try the falafel as I'm always on lookout for the best. The good. The restaurant is very nice and clean and the staff were attentive and courteous. I loved the tomato and lemon on the table. I'm a sucker for little things like that. Also very nice is that they offer printed Birkat Hamazon. The falafel sandwich (minus the spicy pepper) itself looks beautiful with a lovely sliced tomato and the portion is more than I could eat in one sitting. However, I found it tasteless and struggled to find the seasoning in it. As someone who has grew up eating falafel in Flatbush and has dozens of falafel in Israel, it was disappointing because it was tasteless. I may have caught them on an off day (we all have them) and will give it another try. Stay tuned. read more

I really loved this place. It's located in Bell Works. It's a hip little spot. Music is loud and there's little tomatoes and lemons on all the tables. The manager was so nice and made great recommendations. We got ratatouille and lamb kebab. He recommended the plates bc you more bang for your buck. The food was so good! The ratatouille was just delicious and pita was so fluffy and airy! I was really impressed. The price was a bit high but worth it. read more

Miznon is an example of when the food at a restaurant, particularly fast casual, matches its pictures: blatantly kosher-quality ingredients made with a higher chef-inspired standard. The Intimate Stew pita had no lack of seasoning, flavor, or tenderly-cooked beef, carefully placed within a delicious pita. I do recommend leaving the pita within the paper, as it tends to fall apart without it and spill all of the juices/sauces. Next time I would opt for a platter with a pita on the side for a neater dining experience. My only real downside to Miznon Kosher is that I feel like I would have to spend around $50 to get a complete satisfying meal between the entree/pita, a side dish, and a drink. In fact, I noticed the person in front of me spent over $50 on themselves as did the person before them spend over $80 on two people. This is steep in my opinion for a quick casual meal that I'll have eaten in 10-15 minutes, despite the higher cost of the certified kosher ingredients. Nonetheless, Miznon remarkably seems to match the quality and presentation of the chef's New York locations at the incredible Bell Works facility. They were also the only restaurant open inside of the indoor metropolitan-burb on a Sunday evening. read more

Plus, it is a little messy. 3) Israeli food is a mix / fusion between modern European and tradition Middle Eastern food. A taste of Tel Aviv in BellWorks! Dining at Miznon reminds me of time spent in restaurants on Rothschild Blvd in Tel Aviv. Their falafel is top notch as is their schnitzel. The pitas are fresh and the tahini just right. Topping off with a Gold Star lager completes the experience. Staff is friendly, food was served quickly. Ever since I found out Miznon opened one up in NJ, I had to give them a try. I've been to the location in NYC and loved it, so I was very happy to find out they opened one up closer to home. The place is medium in size, with regular tables and booths seating up to 4 people covering every inch of the floor. Each wall had a mural on it while piles of vegetables sat on top of some of the tables. Finally, in the back, you could see the kitchen hard at work. Daughter ordered the steak and egg and thought it was good. She said that she missed going to Miznon in Manhattan and that this was a welcome back meal. Hubs ordered the Melted Chickpeas plate and thought it was very filling and healthy . He originally thought that the price was exorbitant for what seems to be a soup bowl of vegetables but he was astonished at how filling it was. He felt very, very healthy. LOL. He said that it was delicious and great. He said that he can't wait to go back during Lent. Lastly I had falafel burger and thought this was delicious. I love burger in a pita and thought this was a great idea. They offered some tahini and hot sauce with some pita ends. Hubs surmised that there's no food waste here. Very expensive but I realize this is a Kosher restaurant however chick peas, eggs, techina shouldn't cost $24. We ordered falafel burger - needs more spices and salt - not your typical flavorful falafel ball. I felt the pita was too soft to hold - fell apart. We also ordered the lamb kebab. It wasn't cooked long enough so it was partially raw. Again pita was way too soft so it didn't hold the kebab well. Thirdly the shnitzel. That was the best tasting. Crunchy and flavorful. My daughter in law ordered the broken chicken and she loved it. Again I think they overcharge for the veggie items. Loved the music because it was reminiscent of my life in Israel 40 years ago. read more

I work for a Jewish organization in central New Jersey; I ran an event with 50 adults (several of which had a variety of dietary restrictions). Daniel, the General Manager, got on the phone with me right away, he made recommendations for the amount of food needed and the types of food that would best suite my restrictions. The food was delivered on time and arrived warm. I was BLOWN AWAY by the amount and quality of the food I received for the price. I received complements throughout the night for the food taste and frankly didn't need them because I tasted it... the food was phenomenal! 20 out of 10 recommend the vegan Ratatouille platter! I would absolutely recommend catering from Miznon Bellworks, and look forward to working with them again soon! read more

I don't get why anyone would write a bad reviews on this place. One the food is kosher and high quality. 2 the service is fast, and they do dine in or take out. Not only do they do dine in they also clean your mess. They will clean your whole table. They will also bring you your food. They have a liquor license, I can't find a kosher restaurant anywhere. There's farmer market there often you can eat kosher then go shop organic produce and Amish butter. And very good service. Will be back read more

Ridiculously overpriced. You only get half a pita sandwich! Flavorless. They dump some chickpeas in a pita and call it a sandwich. You need to add pickles or something to get any flavor. If you're looking for real good quality israeli food, this is NOT it. read more

I just had the "Amburger" pita. The bread was so fresh I wouldn't be surprised if it was made today. The burger was fresh tasting, very juicy and flavorful.
