Can I get some chicken with all this lettuce ????? If I wanted a salad I would have ordered one. Won't be coming back.

Great portion and excellent food. Different than the average Chinese and pizza you find in a mall. Quick service and friendly workers. I docked a star because the guy making my food seemed to be all over the place and wasn't wearing gloves when the other employees were. Not like he picked up the food with his hands.

This is THE best place to eat at the Freehold Raceway Mall Food Court. All their food is made to order and is fresh and no processed like their surrounding eateries. I highly recommend their chicken kabob platter - it will run you about $10, but you get an amazing salad, two chicken kabob skewers that are so delicious, a side of white rice and really soft and flavorful pita bread too. Don't make the mistake of not treating your mouth and body to healthy delicious food here! You won't be sorry you spent an extra couple dollars and you won't feel guilty after eating here either. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is a bit overpriced and you do have to wait... But still worth it!

I've enjoyed the Branzini very much ( fillet it to avoid bones) Their balloon bread is amazing with the Tapenade they serve. We always get their hummus. And their grape leaves. The Shephards salad which Is mostly tomato &cucumbers w a flavorful dressing (we put on side) .. there's just something about using their balloon bread to scoop up your salad and dips... Yep, we always get a second order of the bread... It's very light and thin and doesn't feel as gluttonous. Everybody is very courteous... It's like going to a restaurant in the city... A belly like dancer surprised us on a Friday night which was fun. I don't really wanna recommend this too much because I don't want it to get so busy that I can't get in when I want to lol but seriously it's a really great experience. It takes about 30 minutes to get your food and even longer to get a check after the fact. Which is crazy because my table was only one out of 3 other tables in the restaurant. A 20% tip is automatically applied to your bill, and then still asked if you want to tip ON TOP OF THE FACT so pay attention to your bill! Part of me thinks the reason the service isn't as good is because they know they're automatically getting that tip, but another part of me hopes that isn't the case. Ambiance is nice, very beautiful and great place for pictures.

Octopus was grilled to perfection as were the lamb dishes. Our server brought a fresh basket of warm pita for the tagine and that was much appreciated. The only issue we had was that the hummus was a bit on the tangy side and slightly runny. Desserts and Moroccan coffee were the perfect end to our meal. Big thank you to Chef Ash for the absolutely delicious mango panna cotta.

It looks like it's a family owned operation where you see the family hard at work in the kitchen and making sure customers are well taken care of. My wife ordered a quinoa salad with chicken kebab. I ordered lentil soup, fattoush salad and a chicken chops entree which came with rice, bulgur and a side salad. We started out with complementary Turkish bread and olives in olive oil. These olives were so good that I had to ask the owner where they came from. He said the olives came from Palestine and the equally good oil came from Turkey. My wife's salad made her very happy. I tried her chicken kebab and it was nicely charred and seasoned chicken breast cubes that weren't dry at all. My lentil soup was thick, creamy and very well spiced with cumin and other middle eastern spices. Fattoush salad had their special house dressing on it which brought out the ultra freshness of the salad ingredients. Chicken chops were thighs that were juicy, so flavorful and expertly charred like the chicken kebab. This place is 8 minutes from our house so it's definitely worth a re-visit. It would be worth it if it were further away as well.

COME HUNGRY! I came here to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday with my husband's family…read morerecently. There were 6 of us and we split the Efsane Family Special for 4 people and added lamb chops thinking we wouldn't have enough food lol the special also came with dessert but my sister-in-law also ordered a rice pudding. The 6 of us could've easily had the family special for 4 without ordering anything else - there was so much food and we had leftovers to take home!! For context, we all eat a LOT so to say we had leftovers is saying a lot! Quantity aside, the food itself was delicious. The bread is served fresh and steaming hot, the dips are delicious and flavorful, meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly (the chicken shish and lamb adana are my favorites), and the bitter black tea and sweet baklava are a perfect way to end the meal. I left there stuffed and so happy! The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

I was very worried that, after the move, I would not be able to find middle eastern food that would compare. However, I was wrong, and Esfane definitely satisfied my craving! I was in the mood for a light lunch, so I ordered the Shepard's Salad, the Baba Ghannouj, and the Lentil Soup. The Baba Ghannouj was excellent and came with lots of pita bread. It could've been a little smokier for my taste, but overall I got a huge serving and it was very creamy and flavorful. The Sheppard's salad was similarly huge and delicious. The lentil soup tasted home-made and was so comforting to dip all of my extra bread in. At the end of lunch, I was also served some complimentary tea, which definiitely was the icing on the cake to this exceptional experience. Overall, I was extremely satisfied by the quality of the food, but also by the amount. The service was similarly excellent. My water was constantly filled and the waiters checked on me numerous times to ensure everything was going well. The decorations inside were also exceptional, and the restaurant definitely gives high-class date night vibes. I could totally see coming back for a date night with my husband. I think the only downside is that I didn't find the food to be QUITE as good as some Paterson joints like Al Basha, and the price felt like it was 1.5x-2x as much. Probably worth it though, because this has got to be one of the better restaurants around in Flanders.
