They completely brand your bar and menu, have the most beautiful garnishes, the drinks are always delicious, they develop content to expand your event's reach, and they come ready to SERVE your audience! We hired Mixin' Mimi for a Fundraiser with an open bar. In the past we had only hired bartenders but brought our own alcohol. This year I didn't want to deal with running out of things, bringing ice, etc. I will say we had a BIT of a responsiveness issue in the beginning trying to engage with them, but once we got Mimi on the phone, she was just fantastic. I LOVED the staff that was sent to run our event. All three were fun, professional, hardworking and made some great drinks! We did run out of wine with about an hour left to the event (and we only had beer and wine and two signature cocktails) which was super disappointing, but we made the best of it. I would 100% hire them again, especially if we got the same bartenders and they brought extra wine! The signature cocktails and mocktails they put together were fantastic. EDIT - Noticed the business responded. I want to be beyond clear here - the issue of the refund is secondary, which I mentioned in my original review. Primarily what happened is that I paid for a service, ended up needing to cancel, but never heard from them (emails went unanswered, their phone wasn't picked up, etc...). Including on the date of the booked service. They took my money and ghosted for over 2 years. Very disturbing and even more so that the business owner is clearly implying that I should not speak about it publicly in their response. It was a very frustrating situation. Would have been bummed but understood the fairness of a "sorry, no refunds" message or communication prior to the date of the booked service years ago if that was the case - as mentioned in my original review. Instead, I never heard from 'em and felt like I got scammed for years. But, it's been so long that this is definitely the last time I update this review, just wanted to be super duper clear for folks. --- It's been about five years since I originally hired this business and, honestly, I forgot about this whole debacle until, today, I received an email from them directly asking me to remove or update this review. I exclusively dealt with them via email (phone calls went unanswered, besides the initial call to discuss the initial quote and event specifics) and have concrete documentation to back all of this up. I'm not a fussy customer and almost never leave bad reviews, but this is a unique situation. So, per Mixin' Mimi's representative's request, I will provide this update: After my original review (in which I had to call off my wedding and tried to contact them to ask what their refund policy was, but never heard from them), I actually did end up being contacted by them. In June 2019. Roughly **two years** later - I originally booked with them in May 2017, which was also the last time I heard from them at all until the June 2019 email in which the owner sent me a long, apologetic message that blamed a prior employee, offered me a partial refund, and a full comp for a bartending service. Seemed fine. And I would have been inclined to believe them. Except for the fact that communication was (again) completely spotty, I once again didn't hear from them for months after asking for an update on the mailed check (which was not mailed for months), and I didn't actually receive my refund until the end of November/early December 2019 - months later. So, no, I am not confident that this was a prior employee's fault. It seems very much in line with how they operate as a business. Keep in mind, this was not a negligible amount of money either - it was nearly $800. And, please note - they did not offer me a full refund after all of this time. They still deducted a "non-refundable booking fee" of $100. Had I been offered this refund in 2017, I would have been satisfied and thought it was beyond fair. But given that they were unresponsive for two years and held my money, it's a bit laughable that they would not fully refund everything to try to make it right. But, at this point, that's splitting hairs - this whole situation was just really unprofessional and super weird. I never did use the comped service from them, either, nor would I after this. And now, over five years after booking them and almost three years after the extremely delayed refund (I had to go back through my emails with them to get the details to even update this review), they have emailed me directly asking for me to remove or update this old Yelp review. I'm honestly surprised, as the update is definitely worse than my original review. In fact, I highly suspect that I would have never received a refund at all had I not left my original review. It feels like they are not committed to transparency nor are willing to own up to how egregiously they handled this situation. Factual reviews are incredibly important for consumers, especially if you run the risk of being out nearly a thousand dollars for years when dealing with a business. Anyways, given that they asked for an update, I have provided one. And I think it's very important for anyone who might want to hire them to be aware of how haphazardly they have handled money from their client in the past. It's quite a lot of money and there are few among us who can afford to non-consensually loan out that amount to a business for multiple years. I am glad that I did ultimately receive a partial refund, years later, but I wish that I would have not dealt with this company at all in the first place. read more

I met the owner, Mimi, many years ago at an event that I attended. I was so impressed with the concept and her personality that I made it a point to stay in touch. Over the course of the years I have used her for several of my own events and have never been disappointed! I was extremely pleased with her professionalism, attention to detail and service. This was a challenging event to coordinate amid the COVID crisis and Mimi provided a service we could depend on. We ordered drink kits from Blue Henry that consisted of all the ingredients to make a French 75. I hired Mixin'Mimi for my moms and her twin sisters surprise 60th birthday party, Mimi jumped right in and was so helpful and very knowledgeable as I'm not really a drinker and knew nothing about buying/purchasing liquor/spirits.
