The mysterious pain in his lower back as he rebounded or jumped returned with an added knee issue after being flagrantly tripped by an opponent. All things knees makes me really worried considering all the knee injuries I've suffered from. Most clinics were closed or were about to close. Some didn't pick up while others didn't have available appointments. I changed my search area and stumbled across Past Tense Massage. Read the reviews and called and spoke to Mr. Marshall. Provided him with the key information and he was AVAILABLE to work his magic for my son's ailments. Mr. Marshall was personable and professional; He was very knowledgeable and informative. He provided thorough attention and care to the impacted areas and to areas that we didn't know were important. I wasn't expecting an instant miracle, however, my son left out taller feeling better than he'd ever been and more importantly, without any of the pain he initially walked in with. I shared his experience with other team parents and a few wished they had known and also made an appointment for their Sonshine. The care he gave made it possible for goin to play Day 3 and he was able to lock in with his team and clinch the Championship! Thank you Mr. Marshall for all you did and even with short notice! Sonshine rated his experience a 10 out of 10, and we will make this our go to place when traveling to SoCal for a basketball tournament.

My usually massages aren't the "relaxing" type but more trying to work through the built up tension and stress. I only had time to do a 30 min session but by the end, I definitely felt like my shoulders weren't up my ears. Despite also working in the medical field, I still get a case of white-coat nerves around new doctors. Dr. Gan--and most importantly, Ruby (the office mascot )--were great at easing and calming those nerves. My body has been through a lot over the years, and I have to say that the few appointments I've had have done wonders for my daily aches and pains. Here, you can tell they don't provide subpar treatment just to ensure repeat visits; they genuinely want their patients to get better and return to full capacity. Well 3 weeks ago, I hurt my back pulling out weeds for 2 days straight. I thought it would get better but was still in so much pain after 6 days. I could feel so many knots in my lower back and my lat was so stiff. I remembered Valerie from way back and how good she was. She got me in the next day for a 60 min session. She was just as amazing as I remembered her to be. I felt so much better after and within a few days my back pain was gone. I just saw her again today for a 90 min session, this time for all the knots in my traps but she worked on the whole body. Loved it! Val is so consistent, I highly recommend the 90. My shoulder, traps and neck were full of knots and so crunchy and the relief after is night and day. I finally feel normal haha. I don't think we realize how much we put up with regarding knots, pain, and stiffness. I have such a different outlook on massages now. Zen cannot control the homeless people you might see. My car was perfectly safe the whole time I was parked. I was not approached by any of them. Hai did ask them to move along.
