Due to the large size of the print, we couldn't find matting that would work in the color we wanted, so my wife creatively made her own two-color matting, and we gave them to Justin. He forewarned us that due to the thin material, there might be wrinkles, but he said he'd try his best to eliminate them. He promised to deliver it to our home in Cathedral City at no extra charge. They did deliver the finished product and yes, there were wrinkles, but it's something we were expecting, and we can live with it. We thought the price was reasonable. Overall, the service was good and we would use them again, if not in a rush.

When I went to pick it up, the matting on the front was sloppy and there was space between the print and the matting. When I expressed concern about the quality, the individual said, well it's not that bad but I guess the customer is always right. Then the cutout on the back was so sloppy I said a third grader could have done a better job. I requested that it was to be redone and could they prioritize it has I had waited 3 weeks, he said no but that there would be no additional change. Why would I pay more for a subpar job? Got a phone call that the picture was done again. When I went to pick it up the mat was better, but the cutout on the back to display the number was nonexistent. When I expressed my concern to the assistant store manager, there was no apology or expression of remorse. I was extremely frustrated and told her the original cutout looked like it had been done by a third grader and that it wasn't her fault and she said the was the third grader who had done it. She seemed not to care at all.

My first impression was very positive, Jerry greeted me with a warm smile and put whatever he was working on to the side to give me his full attention. It took awhile to go through decisions for each piece but I never felt rushed, Jerry's years of experience and being an artist himself helped guide me in making framing an matting decisions, in fact a few days after leaving the gallery Jerry called me to let me know he thought a different matte would be a better choice for one the pieces. He sent photos and I agreed. Although I had about 10 pieces, it only took him about 2 weeks to complete, as well as deliver and install. Other galleries I've used have taken several weeks for one piece of art. When Jerry installed the art he did an amazing job, I wasn't exactly sure where I wanted to hang every piece, he helped me decide and position them. He also created brackets on the spot to hang an art object that he didn't frame, that's going above and beyond! I would gladly recommend Frame Master Galleries and Jerry to anyone. From that first day we walked into the store we have been thrilled with the service, the quality and the pricing of this business. Art, the owner delivered a wonderful art piece and said he would hang it for us. We had discussed with him the fact we needed some of our current art reframed so he made several recommendations on framing and gave us some ideas on furniture.
