We are a Control4 Platinum Dealer with a Control4 Certified Showroom, a Crestron Elite Partner, a Lutron Certified Installer and a Josh.ai dealer, and our programming is done in house. The platform is chosen for the house rather than for the dealer: Control4 when you want one app for the whole home, Crestron for custom builds that need programming beyond presets, and Lutron HomeWorks QSX or RadioRA 3 underneath either one for lighting and shades. What we do: smart home automation and lighting control, motorized shades, home theaters and media rooms, whole-home and outdoor audio, home networking and whole-home Wi-Fi, low-voltage pre-wire for new construction, security cameras with on-site recording, golf simulator rooms and TV concealment. We also take over systems another company installed, including older Control4 and Crestron projects. Every project starts with a free site walk and a written, fixed-price proposal rather than an estimate. Our own crew installs, not subcontractors, and every installation carries a five-year workmanship warranty.

Had Josh come over to give me an estimate for hardwiring 8 cameras(5 existing, 3 to install and hardwire), and he gave me a reasonable price for that labor. I loved my experience with Simplicity. They brought so much to the table and pulled it all…read moretogether into simple to use controls for the family. We had no idea how much they would make our new dream home even better. We were building our dream home, and our builder introduced us to Simplicity. I'm a pretty big techno geek and have worked in home automation in the past, so I thought that I had a pretty good idea on how we would automate our house. But Joe and his team brought more ideas that really made a difference. They walked the house with us when it was only a shell. We talked through how we use entertainment, what games the children like, how we would use each room and outdoor seating area. In the end, we got a lot more use for pretty small change in budget. We didn't realize that home automation needs such a strong wifi backbone. But we have outstanding coverage throughout our house. And also in our neighbors house. We can use our wifi in almost every room in my neighbor's house, except for the far corner of his sub-basement. My daughter uses our wifi at the neighborhood pool. The best part about working with Simplicity is that they took all of these technologies to run our house and put them into easy to use controls. We have two types of handheld remotes for everything, as well as touchpads mounted in common areas. Since I am the only old school techno geek in the family, the controls had to be very simple to use, and these are. If we had to do this over again, we would have involved Simplicity much earlier in the building process. We could have saved a lot on our electrical plan and had a lot more automation for relatively simple things. In particular, lighting and window shades. We probably would have had 30% less physical light switches and let the controller turn on and off lights based on our normal usage patterns. Same with window shades. We have a beautiful back yard and that wall is full windows. Awesome from noon on but hard on the eyes in the morning. Especially before coffee. We could have automated all of that and almost never had to touch a button. If you are looking to automate a new or existing home, talk to these guys. I'm very impressed with our results.
