Well.....we couldn't have been more disappointed. I regret not taking pics to post for you guys to see. I gave this place 2 stars because most of the food was edible and seemed fresh. When the buzzer rang I went to pickup our lunch and the outside of the boxes they put the dogs in were dripping with mustard and "chili" sauce. It just looked sloppy and careless. My second complaint is the size of the hot dog. The dogs are literally the same diameter as my pinky finger and there's more bread than hot dog so don't expect much in the way of meat. Third complaint is the toppings. I ordered a Texas something or other that was supposed to be chili, crushed Fritos and chopped raw onion. So, all (3) of the ingredients were there, BUT, there was no meat in the "chili"!! And it tasted and looked like a packet of taco seasoning mixed with mayonnaise, there were a total of maybe (4) crushed Fritos on the dog and the onions were at least fresh. My GF ordered a chili cheese dog and she was given the same liquid chili in a very small amount and a ton of cheese sauce to hide it. It's as if they ran out or ran low and scrambled to stretch out a tiny amount of chili to get through the day. Our dogs looked NOTHING like the pics everyone has posted over the years. They looked pitiful. As for the fries....our fries looked NOTHING like the pics posted throughout the years. There wasn't a crinkle cut fry in site. We were served, maybe, (11) or (12) of the thinnest shoestring fries I've ever seen. They looked like match stick potatoes. They had a look that made us think they were soft and slightly under cooked but they were hard as rocks and crunchy like pretzels. As if they were cooked well in advance and reheated and given to us. My other dog was a plain dog with K&M on a pretzel bun which wasn't terrible but again..the thinnest hot dog I've ever seen. It's a cute spot and has potential but I'll never go back. There are places like Chris's red hots in Verona that provide loaded dogs for about the same price and average dirty water dogs all over. Oh....forgot to add that they were completely out of the ingredients for the "Italian dog" at 1:30pm on a Monday.

The look reminds me of an old 50's style drive-up restaurant. The service was good. Our cashier was training but the owner stepped in and helped when she found that she had rung an item incorrectly, without me complaining about anything. The food came quick. My wife got the Delite burger, I got the Dirt Burger, my kids got chili dogs (boiled) and we got fries. The burgers were amazing. My wife tried my dirt burger and immediately regretted her choice. My kids (8,4,3) devoured their chili dogs in about 3.5 seconds, which for my picky eaters, is quite an amazing accomplishment. The fries were crispy and full of flavor. I'd give the food a 10/10. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good. Now....the ice cream. If you thought their food was good, the ice cream will blow you away. My wife got a Snow Storm with salted Caramel soft serve and m&m's blended inside. The salted caramel soft serve is a home made blend of theirs. It was AMAZING and I'm not even a salted caramel guy lol. I really enjoyed that the ice cream wasn't artificially dyed and was still white. I got a Mintastic Stacker. If you're a lover of mint chip ice cream like me, you'll love this. It was a sundae that was layered with hot fudge and brownie bites then mint chip ice cream then Oreos followed by more mint chip cream. It was not overly sweet and the brownie bites were really good. My 8 year old got a cookie dough ice cream milkshake and said it was really good. For my littles, they got a kids scoop of hard ice cream. The portion for a little kid was PERFECT. I give the ice cream a 10/10 as well. One of the owners was present and said they purchased the place in August of 2025. They said they're trying to bring customers back, I guess after the old owners may have had some issues. If you live in the area this could easily become a regular restaurant in your rotation of places to go. If you're visiting the area, I highly recommend this place for quick, cheap, good quality food with friendly service. It is only outside seating. It was raining the day we went so we ate in the car.
